| Chapter 7: Liz couldn't breath let alone talk. Was Lucky Spencer really asking her out - on a *date*. Could he have been over Sarah? So many thoughts raced through her head. Lucky just about hid after those words came out of his mouth. "What was I thinking. She couldn't like me. She only pays attention to me to get Sarah back." He says to himself. "Lucky?" Liz says. "Yeah." He answers. "Are you telling me you want to go out on a date with me?" She asks him. ######################################################### Emily looks away from Matt when she notices Jason. "I think you better leave before I have you thrown out." Jason says fiercely. "Jason..." Carly whispers. Matt looks at Emily one last time. He wanted to reach out to her, but he didn't know how or even if she wanted him too. "Ok, I'll go, but I'll be back Emily. I miss you." He says to her. Emily wipes her tears away when Matt walked out the door. Jason walks over to her and takes a chair and sits next to her bed. "Who was that?" Jason asks. "Matt." Carly walks over by Emily and sits on her bed. "Sweetie, isn't he the one who gave you the drugs?" Emily looks away. She was embarressed and didn't want either of them to look down on her. She treasured them both and needed them to always be in her life. "Yes. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. It's all my fault." Emily cries. Carly places her hands on Emily's face and lifts her chin up. "You listen to me. This was not your fault. We all saw you falling, but hoped it was something else. We won't let you fall again. We're here for you - always. If you need anything, we're here." Carly promises her. "Thank you. I love you both." Emily tells them. Before they can say anymore the Doctor comes in. "Hi. We need to cut her visitors now. She needs some rest." "Ok. We'll see you tomorrow, ok Em?" Carly says. "Yeah." Emily replies. Jason and Carly leave the room. The Doctor walks over to her. "Did you find anything out?" Emily asks him. ######################################################### Nikolas couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was seeing Sarah and here she was jealous of his friendship with Emily. "Me and Emily are friends. I care about what happens to her. Obviously your not her friend." He says. "I am. I just..." "Forget it. I'm going home. When you calm down you can call me. I've never seen this side, Sarah. I don't think I really care for it." Nikolas says as he storms out of GH. "Great! Stop with this jealousy bit, Sarah. What's your problem." She tells herself. ######################################################### "I think I am going to get home. I'll check in with her tomorrow. If anything changes let me know." Ned says. "We will. Thank you so much. We will never be able to thank you enough." Monica says. "Her being alive and well is all the payment I need." Ned tells them. "Thanks, Ned." Alan adds. "See you guys tomorrow." Ned says and then leaves. "I better get home. Kelly worries about me when I am out late because of drinking." AJ tells them. "We understand. Tell he 'hi' for us. I love you and we'll see you tomorrow." Monica tells her son. Monica gives him a hug and then AJ leaves GH. Monica looks at Alan. They see Jason and Carly come their way. "How was she?" Monica asks. "Holding in there." Carly tells them. "Uh, the Doctor is in with her. Maybe you should go see her." Jason says. "Thanks, Jason." Alan says. Monica and Alan have gotten a little closer with Jason, but not much. They know Carly won't push it, but she helps a little since she has patched things up with her own mother. Monica and Alan head to Emily's room and Jason and Carly go home. ######################################################### Lucky nods his head. "Yes, I would like to take you out. What do you say, Liz? Will you go to a movie and dinner with me tomorrow night?" He asks her. Liz smiles nervously. "Yes, I would love that." She replies. "Good. I'll call you tomorrow after I go see Emily. Is that ok?" He asks. "Sure. You need to be there for her and when your done I will be waiting. I mean..." Liz says as she blushes a little from what she said. "I know what you mean." Lucky answers trying to let her off the hook. Lucky touches her face and looks into her eyes. They both stiffen with anticipation of being attracted to the other. Lucky leans in for a kiss, but get interrupted by the car door opening. "Ok, let's get out of here before I scream." Sarah yells. This makes Liz and Lucky pull apart. Liz turns back and smiles at Lucky. |
