| Chapter 5: Liz and Lucky pull away from their long hug. Liz just looks at him hoping to read what he's going through - but she can't. "Thank you for that, Liz." Lucky tells her. Liz flashes him a million dollar smile. "Your welcome. You seemed like you could use a hug." Liz replies. "Should we go back in?" "Yeah. She should be back from her tests soon." Liz nods and they walk back into GH to check on Emily. ###################################################### "We came to check on Emily. How is she?" Jason asks them. "She's hanging in there. They're running some tests right now." Ned tells them. "What happened?" Carly asks with concern. (I'm having Carly and Emily close in this one) "She overdosed on drugs. We caught her on the roof trying to fly." AJ explains. Jason shakes his head in worry. He knew he couldn't have helped her, but he wished he could've done something. "We're waiting to see her." Alan says. "You haven't seen her?" Carly asks. "No. Ned and AJ brought her in." Monica tells them. The Doctor comes out and everyone walks over to him. "Emily is back in her room." The Doctor says. ####################################################### Sarah and Nikolas watch Lucky and Liz walk in. They both look down and see that their hands were linked. "What is going on with them?" Sarah asks. "Who knows. I'm going to go check on Emily." Nikolas replies. "They'll come and tell us when they hear something. Back to Lizzie and Lucky..." Sarah begins. Nikolas is shocked by the lack of sympathy Sarah is showing. This wasn't like her. Emily almost died and Sarah was acting jealous of none other than - her sister and her relationship with Lucky Spencer. "What - are you jealous?" Nikolas responds. "No. Of course not. Why would you even think that?" Sarah snaps back. "Whatever. I'm going to check on Emily." Nikolas says. He gets up without another word to Sarah leaving her dumbfounded. ######################################################## Alan and Monica walk into Emily's room. Emily looks away. They sit down by her. "We're here, sweetie. We're sorry we haven't been here for you." Monica tells her. "It's not your fault. It was me." Emily whispers. ######################################################## Luke walks up to Lucky and Liz. "Hey. I think I better get home to your mom and let her know what's going on. Are you staying?" "Yeah." Lucky answers. "Ok. Call us when you want a ride home." "We can give him a ride, Mr. Spencer." Liz tells Luke. "Thank you, sweetheart." Luke says with a smile. Luke says goodbye. Lucky and Liz wait for news on Emily with Jason and Carly, Ned, AJ, and Nikolas. ######################################################## "You have so many people waiting to see you." Alan says with a smile. "Who?" Emily asks curiously. "Oh - Sarah, Nikolas, Jason and Carly, Ned, AJ, and Nikolas to name a few." Monica tells her. "Wow. Can I see Jason and Carly." Emily asks. "Sure, honey. We'll go get them." Alan replies. "We love you." Monica reminds her daughter. They give her a kiss and then leave the room. ######################################################## Matt had rushed to GH when he heard the news. He really was starting to like Emily and didn't want to see her die. He waited until nobody was looking and he snuck in Emily's room. Emily opened her eyes after she heard the door. She was expecting Jason and Carly - and got the unexpected. "Matt? What are you doing here?" Emily asks suspiciously. |
