| Chapter 2: Emily placed her book town on the window seat and got up and walked over to her bed. She pulled back the comforter and saw a single white rose. 'Where in the world...' she thought to herself and she placed the rose on dresser and then climbed into bed. All these memories of Lucky had brought to mind another incident. She used the key Nikolas had given her to let herself in as she had many mornings over the past few months since his break up with Katherine. As Emily Stepped into the living room she saw the unexpected. Emily gasped as she saw Elizabeth in Nikolas' arms. She dropped the letters and then picked them up and ran out. Now they were married and expecting the first of what they planned would be many children. Emily eventually had given them the letters. If they had read them or not she didn't know and she didn't care. Emily rested her head on her pillow and closed her eyes as she began to smell the familiar sent of Tommy cologne. The same type Lucky had worn. Emily sat up. "A white rose, the Tommy cologne? Lucky can't be back it's to early." She said and shook the idea out of her head. The next morning while Emily was dressing for the day she put the radio and heard the DJ say, "This next song is going out to Emily Rose, from Lorenzo Lucas. With the Message I'm gonna be home soon." Emily Froze as her heart started to pound with anticipation. Emily slowly sank down on her bed half dressed and listened to the song. "If she could just feel, What I feel here in my heart" She'd know it was real. Pure and true right from the start, But I'm just a man who didn't understand, what she was going through. But she's gone away, maybe she'd stay, if only she knew." Emily's heart and mind raced as the song continued. Her mind continued to flashback to the kiss. The one kiss that seemed to have sealed there fate. "And how, how did I let her get away, 'Cause love, love is so easy to feel, but the hardest thing to say." There was a knocking at Emily's window and she quickly found her lavender shirt and put it on as she went to the window. "If she could just see, What I see when I close my eyes, All that I dream, Surely she would realize, But like a fool I waited much too long, To let her know the truth, She's gone away, maybe she'd stay, if only she knew." Emily Opened the window and her mouth dropped open when she saw Lucky there on the roof at her window. "Tell em, tell me how, How did I let her get away (tell me), Cause I guess that love, Love is so easy to feel, But the hardest thing to say." "Your Home!" Emily declared to a smiling Lucky. "Like I would stay away. Besides I made you a promise." The song ended and Emily helped Lucky into her room. "How long have you been back Spencer?" "I got back yesterday, why?" "The white rose and my pillow smelled like your cologne." "You remembered I wear Tommy?" "Yeah it's distinctive and your the only guy I know that it worked for." "Are you still wearing the Cucumber-Melon stuff or the CK1?" "I still alternate."
