Emily heard Lucky declare his love for her. She got up and ran to the door and swung it open and called out his name.

Lucky was walking down the hall crying. He was actually allowing himself to cry. When he heard Emily call his name he slowly turned his head towards her.

"I heard you say it."

"Say what?"

"You know what." She ran towards him and took his hands in hers. "I heard you say that you love me."

"Em…."

"Don’t deny it! I won’t let you! I refuse to let you deny that you love me. I couldn’t live with myself if you couldn’t admit it."

"Emily…"

"Lucky, I wanted to tell you. I tried to find some way ten years ago to say to you, ‘Lucky remember when we were in that car accident. Well afterwards in the ER Dr. Joe Scanlon told me that I am never going to be able to have children.’ I couldn’t say it. I didn’t want to admit it to myself but then after we had been married for two years. I realized I couldn’t put you off. I wanted you to be able to be a father. That’s what you wanted most. I figured after you got over me leaving you’d find someone new, get married and have children." She turned and looked down at the rug.

Lucky placed his hands on her shoulders and she looked up.

"Emily, I could never be with anyone other then you. I LOVE you! I NEVER STOPPED! I’ll never stop loving you baby. You are my heart, my soul, my world."

Emily is standing their crying, tears staining her face. Lucky pulls her in for a hug. His hands stroke her soft hair and he leans down and kisses her. She responds to the kiss. Lucky wraps his arms around her and lifts her up. Emily immediately believes that he’ll carry her to her room. But as Lucky walks towards his room. Emily realizes he’s bringing her to his room, and his bed.

Lucky placed Emily on the bed and moved away.

"What’s wrong?" She asked worried.

"Nothings wrong. I just want to look at you. I want to hold you." He climbed back on the bed next to her. "I never want to let you go again Em."

Lucky put his arms around her and she leaned her head against his chest. She closed her eyes and breathed in his scent.

"I love you so much. I’m sorry I lied. I didn’t want to hurt you."

"Em, I know. Don’t worry about that now. We have to plan our future. A Future for the four of us. For you, Me, Jeffrey and this little one. We made together."

Lucky pulls her closer and strokes her hair again. Emily closes her eyes.

"I’m never letting you go again Em."

"Good, cause I don’t want you to."

Lucky kisses the top of her head as she drifts to sleep.

Emily wakes up and Lucky is not beside her. For the first time she looks around the room and sees he hadn’t changed it at all. As she sits up the door opens and Lucky comes in with Jeffrey in his arms.

"We’ve got something for you babe."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah." He placed Jeffrey on the bed and handed him the box. Jeffrey crawled over to her and handed it to her.

"It’s not and explosive is it?"

"Em! Open it."

"Alright." She puts Jeffrey on her lap and opens the box revealing a diamond ring. "Wow."

"You like it?"

"I Love it but I don’t understand."

"Well you never had an engagement ring either time so I felt it was time."

"Lucky that was so sweet." Studies the ring. "It looks familiar."

"It should, it’s from your diamond collection."

"Ahh…Well are you going to put it on me or do I have to do it myself?"

"Let me my lady." He got on the bed and took the ring and placed it on her finger. "Perfect."

"Almost." She cups his face in her hands and brings him closer and kisses him deeply on the lips. The kiss however is broken by Jeffrey clapping and giggling.
