| Chapter 3: Lucky walked into his hotel room. The years away he had never expected his return to have this reaction. He flopped down on the bed. How could he get Elizabeth back? His mind raced with ideas then he knew. He knew who he needed to talk to. His former Agency partner—Mike Roy. Lucky picked up his phone and dialed a number, "Hey, it’s me. I need your help. Just get to PC. Let’s say you’ve tried this before but this time it’ll work." He then hung up and laid down and tried to sleep.
Elizabeth cried into the pillow on her bed. Her face wet with tears. The door to her apartment opened and she sat up trying to dry her face as Nikolas walked into her bedroom. "Nikolas?" "Oh, Liz, if I had known I never would have taken you there." He said as he climbed onto the bed next to her. "Nikolas, it’s not your fault. You’re not the one who left with out a word. Besides you think your gonna lose me to him? No way no how." "Elizabeth, I love you with all my heart. I’m afraid though." "You have no reason to be afraid. You’ve got me, and your not going to be able to get rid of me. I love you with my entire heart." She cups his face in her hands and brings his mouth to hers and kisses him deeply. "I want to show you just how much." "I thought you wanted to wait for our wedding night." "I want to show you now Nikolas." She kissed him again and they fall back onto the bed. She slowly began to unbutton his shirt and allow her hands to start exploring his chest. As Elizabeth’s hands explored his chest, Nikolas held onto her waist, holding her against his body. There was a knock at Lucky’s Hotel room door. He opened it and Emily came bursting in. "Okay Spencer, tell me what your up to." "Huh? Emily what are you yapping about?" "I know you Spencer, and I know your planning something so just tell me what." "Em, I’m not planning anything." "Sure you aren’t and Elizabeth and Nikolas didn’t tell you off last night." "Fine, I’m planning on getting Liz back. Okay." "How? She’s in love with Nikolas." "She was in love with me once to. She still loves me." "God, Lucky get over yourself. Babe it’s time to move on. I’ve got a friend who would be perfect for you. She’s an ADA her in town." "Emily, forget it I want Liz and I’ll get Liz." |
