Chapter 16
Cairo, Egypt
Faison's Secret Hideout.
3:30pm Cairo Time
Faison paced back and forth in his study.
Then he gave an icy cold glare toward his bodyguard.
''Idiot! How could you lose Lucky Spencer? You know how valuable he is
to me. I have warned you time and time again that Lucky is very
intelligent and have been well taught by his parents to handle any
situation. You have one more chance to redeem yourself or pay the
price!!''
Faison smoked his cigar then said, ''Did you have any kind of a stop
along the way here. I advise you to think very carefully before you
reply. We must find young Mr. Spencer before the 18th, Ari!''
''Um, we had a crowd stop us suddenly by the Pharonic village. That must
of been when he made his escape,'' stuttered Ari.
''Well, then time is awaiting. You better hurry because I hate for
anything to happen to you. You know, when Helena finds out you lost
Lucky.'' Faison sneered.
''Yes, sir. I call the driver now,'' Ari said sounding very nervous.
''And since you been very incompetent in your duties. I will come along,
so you will not mess up again. Now, move it!!!'' growled Faison.
Then Faison and Ari headed for the car.
Phararonic Village
Jacob Island-six miles from the center of Cairo
Around 4pm
Lucky followed the tour guide as they
approached some models figures of ancient Egyptian shipwrights working
on a boat.
Then the tour guide spoke, ''The Pharonic village is a *living breathing
entity that changes day by day with numerous activities from ancient
Egypt. The ancient Egyptians were not so different from us, actually.
The ''inhabitants'' of the Pharonic Village have worked to recapture and
bring them to life for you. From work to play, industries and festivals,
there is always something new going on the Pharonic Village.''
He then pointed toward the ship, ''The shipwrights over here *duplicates
of those that lived thousands of years ago and built boats for fishing,
commerce, and travel. With the Nile as the major route of travel, boat
building was an important industry in ancient Egypt, and so it also a
prominent part of the Pharaonic Village, joining other ancient
industries such a brickmaking, carpentry and masonry.''
The man smiled, ''Next, follow me to our next exhibit.''
Lucky stayed behind and stared at the boat with the shipwrights on it.
He knew he was fortunate that he managed to sneak into the Pharaonic
village. But he wondered how much time he had before Faison would figure
out he was there. He looked around and didn't see him anywhere. He
decided to stay with the tour group because it might be safer be with a
crowd. Lucky glanced at the boat, one more time, then ran to rejoin the
group at the art exhibit.
Meanwhile, far away in the distance, a shock Ryan saw Lucky running.
''Well, Well, I am so glad I came here instead of the Egyptian
Antiquities Museum. So, the prize has escaped. It's time for me to
collect my reward.''
Then Ryan laughed wickedly, and proceeded to head in Lucky's direction.
The Egyptian Antiquities Museum
Cairo Egypt
4:45pm
''The museum will be closing in the 15
minutes. Thank you for visiting the Egyptian Antiquities Museum. We open
at 9am tomorrow.'' a voice announced in English.
Then the voice proceeded to talk the same message in a different
language.
Afterwards, Frisco said, ''It's okay. I have arranged for us to stay
longer here. For the last while, the WSB has been assisting the Egyptian
government in protecting the newest discovery in the Valley of the
Kings. But I must have your promise that you will not speak of word of
our work to anyone.''
''We promise, Frisco,'' Felicia said as she touch his shoulder.
''Hey, Mac, please look at this exhibit,'' Mac glared at Frisco and
Felicia, ''Not now, Collins, I'm busy.''
''Now!'' Kevin stated.
Then he dragged Mac to the exhibit that was further away in the
distance.
Kevin said loudly, ''Mac, This is a lime stone painting of Ramses II
Smiting Enemies. The time period is the New Kingdom, 19th Dynasty during
Ramses II. Isn't the artwork wonderful!''
Then Kevin whispered, ''Sorry, pal. I had to drag you away, but I felt
Felicia and Frisco need to talk.''
Mac shrugged his shoulder, ''I don't like it, but I understand they need
to discuss the children. It makes me so mad, how Frisco doesn't put his
children first in his life.''
Kevin said seriously, ''It isn't our place to judge Frisco. I know that
Frisco loves both of his girls, regardless of his behavior.''
''Whatever. But he if put a move on my wife. I'm outta of here.'' Mac
said angrily.
''Deal!'' Kevin smiled.
Kevin looked and saw Lucy approaching him, ''Oh, my lovely fiancee
cometh.''
Lucy blushed and then kissed Kevin passionately.
Then she joined the two looking at the exhibit.
Meanwhile, Frisco and Felicia were looking at the mummy of King Ramses
II.
Frisco hummed a tune and began to sing.
He's blindfold around the word to a
secret location.
Where in the world is Lucky Spencer?
''Felicia, I sure we can rescue Lucky
from Faison's evil clutches. After all, I am helping you all. Just
kidding. Faison is smart, but we must find away to outwit him,'' Frisco
said seriously.
Then Frisco paused, ''How are Maxie and Georgie. I'm sorry, I haven't
had a chance to visit them for a while.''
Felicia smiled, ''Our girls are doing wonderful and are happy, but they
miss you.''
Frisco look sad then spoke, ''I wish I could see them more often, but
you know my job. Please tell my girls I love them.''
Felicia muttered, ''I wish you could see you girls more.''
Then she replied, ''Frisco, I will. Please, come to Port Charles soon
and see Maxie and Georgie.''
Frisco smiled, ''I will, I promise... By the way, how is Tony doing
since his breakdown.''
Felicia grinned, ''He has totally recovered now. In fact, Bobbie has
decided to give joint custody because she felt he has changed.''
''That's great. I am ever so thankful that you were there for Tony when
he lost it. I only wish, I could of been there in Port Charles as
well,'' Frisco said gratefully.
''You welcome, Frisco. I still consider Tony as my brother-in-law even
after we divorced. I never will forget how he saved Maxie's life,''
Felicia said tearfully.
Felicia broke down in tears and Frisco pulled her into her arms. Frisco
and Felicia remained silent as they recall the time when they had nearly
lost Maxie years ago.
Nearby, Kevin, Mac, and Lucy were looking
at another exhibit. Luke, Laura, V, and Nicholas approached them
''What's this, Doc?'' Luke asked.
Before Kevin could reply back, a tour group came walking through the
museum quickly. A woman noticed Kevin and stopped in her tracks. Kevin
observed her name was Tammy from her name tag.
''Dr. Stone!!'' yelled Tammy.
The she threw her arms around Kevin and hugged him much to Lucy's
dismay.
Tammy laughed, ''I just keep running into you. But I've got to leave,
the bus is a waiting.''
Then Tammy ran out of the room before Kevin could utter a word.
''Who is the woman hugging my Doc,'' Lucy said fuming.
Then Luke slapped Kevin on the back, ''Doc, you, old sly dog. Hiding a
woman in Egypt the whole time.''
Kevin glared, ''Don't you ever slap me again. And for information, I
don't know who that woman is. She must of been mistaken.''
Lucy eyes started to light up and said, ''Doc! Don't you get it she
thought you were Ryan! See, I was right after all, he is alive.''
Kevin shook his head, ''Like I told you before, there is no way he could
of survived.
Lucy looked him straight into his eyes, ''Trust me, Doc. I know my
feeling is right about Ryan.''
''Who's right?'' Felicia asked as her and Frisco joined the group.
''Lucy, about her theory,'' Kevin declared, ''That Ryan never perished
in the fire and must be following us since he saw you in Canada.''
''No!!!!! Felicia gasped.
