Robin's Apartment

''Kevin and Lucy, shouldn't you be heading back to the Hotel like the others did earlier,'' Robin asked.
''We wanted to help you clean up here. There is so many dishes that we left for you.''
Robin laughed, ''Don't worry, I have a dishwaher.''
Lucy chuckled, ''My favorite kind of washer. The least we could do is assist you in putting the dishes in there.''
Robin shook her head, ''The dishes can wait. But I have a question for you two. Last time I was home, you had both broken up, and were seeing other people. What happened?''
Kevin looked at Lucy and she nodded for him to speak for them, ''One afternoon last May, I happened to be at the Outback visiting with Felicia. She remarked how far I had come since my breakdown and how happy she was about it. She did tell me how suprised she was that I was Eve, not Lucy. I mentioned that Eve was generous, caring, and brilliant. Then Felicia asked me why I was dating the woman who broke up my wedding.''
Kevin paused then continued, ''Robin, at the time, I tried justify being with Eve to Felicia but in the end the reasons I gave her sounded flat. Then Felicia made a remark that changed my life. She told my bluntly that she believed Lucy was my soulmate. And she was the only reason that I was sane today was due to strength of her love. I was dumbstruck I couldn't say anything. Then the kicker, Felicia said it was my stupid male pride that stopped me from forgiving Lucy and reuniting with her.''
Then Kevin looked Robin straight into her eyes, ''That night, I pondered long and hard about Felicia had said to me. Eve had been working that night, so I had to lighthouse to myself. I finally came to the conclusion, that Felicia was right. I had been fooling myself believing I loved Eve. Robin, I realized how mad I was at myself for not fighting for Lucy when I had the chance. I knew I had to end things with Eve, which I did later that night. I hated to hurt her, but it was the right thing to do.''
Lucy interrupted, ''Kevin, now its my turn to tell the rest of the story.''
Then Lucy took a deep breath, ''Robin, That next morning, I found Kevin knocking at my door at my apartment at the Port Charles Hotel. I couldn't believe that Kevin was there. I did notice something different in his eyes. I had been seeing Scott at the time as you know, but I never thought I would have a chance with my Doc again. I was positive it was over between us and I was trying to move on with my life. Then Kevin asked if he come in and talk to me. Kevin shocked me by telling it was all over with Eve and asked me for my forgiveness for deserting me at our wedding. I smiled and told him I had forgiven him a long time ago. Then my Doc picked up my hand, look me straight into my eyes, and told me he still loved me. He wanted to know if I felt the same way, then asked it was too late for us.''
Lucy started crying, ''Those were the words I wanted to hear for so long, but never believed it would happen. I realize at the moment that Doc was and had been the only man for me. Also, I also trying to move on with Scott was a big mistake. Then I told Kevin I wanted us back together and I was sorry for all the mistakes I had made.''
Kevin pulled Lucy into his arms, ''We decided at the moment to have counseling with Gail in order to help repair the damage in our relationship. Later that day, Lucy ended things with Scott.
Lucy kissed, ''It was hard ending things with Scott but we are better friends because of it. It took a while but now Kevin and I now are engaged. We decided we never wanted to be apart again. See, my lovely ring, Robin, that Kevin gave me.''
''It's lovely, Lucy,'' Robin said admiring the ring, ''I'm so happy that you two are back together.''
Kevin smiled, ''So are we. But we should leave. I'm sorry that you can not come to Egypt with us.''
Robin said sadly, ''So, I am. But I have school. Nicholas has arranged to have a guard watching me if case Faison tries to pull anything.''
Kevin and Lucy both hugged Robin, ''Bye, take care. We will keep you updated on Lucky and I'm glad that Nicholas is looking after you.''
Robin smiled, ''Thanks. I love you both.''
Then she walked them outside and to their rented car.

Ryan stared out of his window and observed the planes departing and arriving at the airport. He was excited to leave Paris and see what Faison had planned for Luke and Laura. He thought about Faison's words which he kept repeating in every message to the group.

Ryan thought that Faison was very smart to always be ahead of the group and wondered where Lucky was now in Cairo. Ryan smiled, for Faison was almost as clever as him and was curious to see what he was up with Lucky. Then when Faison was distracting everyone, that would be the perfect time for him to snatch Felicia. Ryan smirked for that thought alone made up for the long six hour flight to Cairo.
Suddenly his thoughts were interrupted by a woman saying, ''Thank goodness, we caught on our flight on time.''
Ryan looked and to his horror noticed the woman was Tammy, his nurse along with office assistance, Melissa.
Ryan muttered to himself, ''What the hell are they doing here flying to Cairo.''
Then he noticed Tammy and Melissa heading his direction and sat right beside him.
''Ryan!'' Tammy exclaimed in the seat right beside Ryan, ''I can't believe that we are both heading to Egypt.''
''Isn't that exciting!!'' Melissa chimed in, ''Perhaps all three of us can go on our tour together.''
''No!' Ryan snapped, ''I will not be joining you two!!!!!''
Ryan felt himself shaking as they both stared at him. The last thing he needed was those two following him. There was no way he could complete his plans with Tammy and Melissa around. Finally, he thought of something to say to them.
He gained his composure and smoothly said, ''I'm so sorry, I snapped at my favorite employees. I had a long day so far and I am very tired. As for Cairo, I have plans with some old friends and they will be showing me the sites. You see, I haven't seen them in a couple of years.''
Tammy smiled, ''Of course, we understand and we don't want to interfere in your plans.''
Ryan smiled back, ''Thank you, Tammy and Melissa. Oh, the flight attendant is going to speak now.''
Then he faced the window and smirked. He took care of Tammy and Melissa. Now it's Felicia turn.

''Is everybody here and ready to go,'' asked Nicholas.
''Leslie and Lulu are in the Cassadine Jet already but Mac and Felicia haven't arrived yet. I wonder where they are,'' said a worried Laura.
''Oh, they had just to buy something for Maxie and Georgie, but they said they would right over,'' replied Lucy.
Luke chuckled, ''I knew it. Mac is always the slow one of the group. After all his police department works as slow as snails under his leadership.''
Kevin glared at him, ''Mac is an excellent police commissor and his police department do a fine job. For your information, Mac arranged for a leave a absence from work to search for Lucky.''
Luke rolled his eyes, ''Doc! Calm down. I was only kidding. You are too serious for your good.''
Then Luke slapped Kevin on the back which ticked Kevin off even more.
Lucy whispered, ''Doc! It's just Luke being Luke. Please play along with him for me.''
Kevin smiled, ''You're right Luke. I should lighten and be like you more
Luke grinned back and then returned his attention to Laura.
Kevin whispered to Lucy, ''I'm only being nice to Luke because of you. Remember, you owe me big time''
Lucy kissed him, ''Don't worry, I will show my appreciation later.''
Kevin smugly said, ''You'll bet you will.''

Meanwhile somewhere in the airport, Felicia and Mac were running to find the terminal. Then Felicia saw the group in the distance and shouted, ''There they are!!''
She was so excited that she ran straight ahead with his luggage and crashed into to some lady throwing both of them to the floor.
''Oh, I'm so sorry for running into you! It was my fault for not looking.'' Felicia said out of breath.
''It's okay! These things happen!'' the lady laughed.
Felicia look up at the lady and gasped, ''V!!! What are you doing here??''
