| Part 6 Scorpio Household It is early the next morning, 7:00 a.m. Mac and Felicia sent Robert and the girls over to Bobby's for the day. There is a knock on the door. Mac goes and opens the door with Felicia close behind him. Luke comes marching in with along with Laura and Sonny. Luke: Hey Bubba, I got ya some jelly doughnuts. All cops like those. Mac:(irratated) Hello Luke. Where's Lucky? Laura: He left us a note, he is supposed to be here already. It said that he needed to come see Robin earlier and we should meet him here. Felicia: He isn't here. Sonny: What do you mean he isn't here? Mac: Robin is still a sleep upstairs. (Starting to get worried) I haven't heard from her all morning. (The adults go running up the stairs and headed straight to Robin's room.) Mac pushes ahead and stops in shock at the sight in front of him. The others collide into him because of his abrupt stop. They all stare at the scene in before them....Robin curled up in Lucky's arms. Both of them asleep. Mac:(Asks looking at Luke) What the hell is going on Spencer? (Luke smiles at him and shrugs) Felicia: I think that they look cute. Laura: Oh they look so peaceful. You would never know by just looking at them now that they have been held prisoners for years. The adults stand there watching the ones that they love sleep. All of them thinking how they are going to make things right for Lucky and Robin. Lucky's once peaceful face is now starting to grow to tense and scared. All of the sudden he starts crying out. ''Please don't hurt her...don't please... Robin jerks up from her sleep. She doesn't see the parents/Sonny standing at the door. Lucky is shaking and moving around. Robin starts stroking Lucky's face trying to get him to calm down. Robin:(Soothingly) It's okay Lucky. We're home remember? Wake up come on Lucky wake up! Lucky's eyes pop open. He sits up visibly disturbed from his nightmare. He looks over to Robin who is sitting next to him with worry in her eyes. He takes Robin into his arms and holds her for dear life stroking her hair. Lucky:(Stuttering) He he got you and and I couldn't stop him. (Tears streaming down his face. It took everything in her for Laura not to go over to her son.) I lost you! I just couldn't stop him. He took you away from me. Robin:(Pulls back from Lucky and cups his face with her petite hands) No, no Lucky he didn't get me. I'm right here see. (Lucky stares at her) You wouldn't let him get me. It's okay, we are fine. Mac, Felicia, Luke, Laura, and Sonny step back outside the room quietly, making sure that Robin and Lucky didn't hear them. Once back downstairs Laura bursts out crying. Laura: What did they do to my Baby? Luke:(Goes to Laura and tries to comfort her) It's okay Sugar. (As he hugs her you see a worried/scared look on his face) Robin's Room Lucky is laying against the headboard with Robin in his arms. Neither are speaking, not wanting to deal with the day that lay ahead of them. Robin: We should probably get downstairs before your parents get here. Lucky: Yeah (Neither of them make a move to get up) Robin(Finally standing up) I think that I am going to take a quick shower before we go down okay? Would you mind staying up here with me? I don't like being upstairs by myself. Lucky: No problem Babe, take your time I can smell ya from here. Robin:(Picked up a pillow from her bed and hit Lucky with it) very funny Spencer! You don't smell so hot yourself. Lucky: Well that is part of the Spencer charm. Girls just swarm around us. Robin: So let me get this straight girls chase after you because you smell? Oh yes I can see them running after you now. ( Lucky smiles at Robin and nods. Robin just rolls her eyes.) Okay give me ten minutes. (Robin then walked out of the bedroom. Lucky sat there on Robin's bed smiling after her. No matter what Robin could always make Lucky smile.) Downstairs Sonny: Should we wake them up and get to work? Luke: They probably are awake, just give them a little while. Today's going to be a big day for them and they know it. Felicia: Yeah I think Robin said last night that she wanted to take a shower in her own bathroom this morning. Laura:(Is sitting in an arm chair just staring out in to space) God what have they been through? Luke: I don't know Darlin but that is what we are going to find out. Mac: I swear if I see Faison I'm going to kill him with my bare hands. (The three men in the room look at each other with a common goal in mind kill Faison! Little did they know is they would have to fight with Robin and Lucky for that pleasure.) Mac: Luke do you know where Helena is? Luke: She has been pretty quiet lately. Last I heard she was in Greece. Sonny: I'll have my men check out her whereabouts and anything else they could scoop up. (Mac and Luke nod in agreement) Mac: Knowing Faison he is probably in port Charles by now, he will make his presence known. Laura: So do we just wait? Luke: Basically, what else can we do? Robin and Lucky might know something we can do but we don't even know what he wants. Sonny: I thought that it was pretty obvious what he wanted and it right upstairs. Felicia: She is just like Anna. Mac: He isn't going to touch her. If he thinks that he can get her again he is nuts. I am not going to lose her! Sonny: I agree with Mac. But I don't think that it is safe for Maxie, Georgie, Robert, and Lu here. They are too easy of targets. Felicia: I could send them to Texas to stay with Mariah. I'll call Frisco to have some agents sent over to guard them. (Make looks a little wary at the idea of calling Frisco.) We are going to have to call the WSB anyway Mac! Mac: Okay I guess I think that that is are best option. (They turn their attention to Luke and Laura) Laura: I'll go get Lu's things ready. I want her out of here as soon as possible. Luke: If that is what Laura wants then I am fine with that. Felicia:(Gets up from the couch) I'll go call Frisco. Laura: I'm gonna go home and get Lu Lu ready. Luke: I don't want you going by yourself. Sonny: Renaldo and Jonny will go with you. (He gets up from the couch and goes to the front door. He opens it and calls Renaldo) I want you and Jonny to escort Mrs. Spencer to her home. Don't let her out of your sight. I don't care if people know that you are guarding her. Got it? Renaldo: Okay Boss, got it! (He leaves with Laura) Upstairs Lucky had gone wandering into Mac's room and found a new shirt and sweatshirt to put on. He wanted a new pair of pants but all of Mac's were too big. He was now in Robin's room sitting at her desk. He was looking through all of her pictures, she had so many. There was one of Robin and Brenda they looked so happy, it must have hurt Robin deeply when Brenda died. There was another of Robin, Stone and Sonny. Stone, Robin's first love. Yes, Lucky liked Stone. He didn't know what to think of Sonny right now though. He knew that Sonny loved Robin he made that clear but if he loved her so much how could he turn on her. The next picture was one of her parents. The parents that she got at a late age and lost at an early age. Lucky didn' t know them but knew how much Robin loved and admired them. He also knew how much his father respected Robert. Oh and the last picture was of Robin and Jason. He picked it up and studied it carefully. It was taken at the Nurse's Ball. Robin looked beautiful. She had on a pink dress and her hair was in curls. Robin was looking up at Jason and he was looking down at her. They looked in love. Robin looked happy. Lucky often wondered if Robin still loved Jason and missed him. He really didn't want to know the answer. Robin really didn't like to talk about Jason now. It hurt her too much. How could Jason hurt her like that? He had something so perfect and pure. He let it go. Lucky wasn't going to do the same thing. No he was going to fight for Robin no matter what! Downstairs Felicia left to go get the girl's from the Brownstone. Luke and Mac were sitting on the couch and Sonny was sitting in a big arm chair. They were waiting impatiently for Lucky and Robin to come downstairs. The front door opened causing the three men to jump up. In came in one of Mac's men named Eric. Eric: We found this on the grounds. Bathroom Robin just turned off the shower but stood in it for a few minutes thinking ''God this feels so good to be home and in my own shower.'' She stepped out and grabbed a fluffy towel. She had better hurry Lucky must be sick of waiting. Downstairs Eric hands Mac a large envelope then walks out. Mac rips it open to find a letter. It read: Did you honestly think it would be that easy? Mac looked up scared. Sonny:(Impatiently) Well what does it say? Mac:(Numbly did you honestly think that it would be that easy? Luke:(Determined) He is not going near my kid! (All of the sudden they hear a scream upstairs, Robin's scream. Mac, Sonny and Luke went running upstairs.) Bathroom Robin was standing in the middle of the large bathroom. She was thinking back to when she was 16 and convinced Mac that the bathroom was way too small for a teenage girl. Mac being the typical Mac wanting to do anything to please Robin enlarged the bathroom. Now it held a huge bath tub and another area for the shower. She got a huge mirror, 2 sinks, and tons of drawers for all of her perfumes, gels, hair stuff and make-up. But now the drawers held Maxi and Georgie's things. This saddened Robin and made her happy at the same time. Robin was lost in her thoughts when a brick came hurdling through the window. Robin ducked as if on instinct. The brick just missed her head breaking her mirror. Robin slowly made her way over to the door when another brick was thrown up. This one was different though. It was wrapped in kerosene towel and burning with flames. This brick didn't get as far as the other. It was right under the window. Robin started to scream wildly. Outside the Bathroom At the sound of Robin's scream Lucky dropped the picture of Jason and Robin he was holding. He bolted to the bathroom door. Soon behind him stood Luke, Mac and Sonny. Robin:(was trying madly to get the door open but it wouldn't budge, the flames were slowly engulfing the back of the room) Yelling: Help me...oh God ......help me!! Lucky:(Scared at the panic in Robin's voice) Robin, you locked the door, can you get it open? Robin:(Starting to feel faint and coughing) They are getting closer...help me Lucky! Mac:What's getting closer Robin? Luke: Is that smoke? Robin:(Screaming) The flames the flames! At that Lucky started pounding at the door. Lucky: Don't give up Robin, I'm right here. I need you Robin,remember we are a team. Robin:(Hitting and kicking the door eying the flames that were growing closer.) Lucky....please help me! (She started at the door again her towel dropping to the floor because of her movement. Mac:(Yelling) Sonny go call the fire department the police whatever, go! (Sonny stood there) GO! (Sonny complied running down the stairs) Lucky: robin can you hear me? back away from the door as much as you can. I'm going to kick it open. robin: Hurry Lucky I don't have that much time left. (She backed away from the door as much as she could. Robin started to cough wildly then she passed out to the ground.) Lucky;(Turning to the two older men) On the count of three..1-2-3! (They put all of their might into kicking that door down all for different reasons wanting to get Robin out of there. Luke wanted Robin out because it was his best friend's daughter. He'll be damned if she was to die too. Not now! Mac wanted Robin out of there because that was his daughter, maybe not biologically but he sure felt like it was his own. Lucky wanted Robin out of there because he wasn't going to let her die before telling her that...that he loved her! The door flew open and Lucky stepping into the bathroom surprised by the amount of flames. He started coughing. LuckY:(Looking down then dropping to his knees) Robin??? |
