| Chapter Five This time..... The crowded looks up to the stage and gasps in disbelief at what they are witnessing. Robin can't help herself she is enjoying this along with Lucky. Robin: Lucky do they look like they have seen a ghost or what? Lucky:(Chuckles) Well Darling, they must be forgetting that this is Port Charles and no one stays dead for long. Let's see we have Katherine and my Grandmother. Robin:(Interrupts) Don't forget your Mother. Lucky: How could I? I had a big part in that one. Luke: Cowboy is that you? Lucky: It's me Dad. (Smiles) In the flesh! (Laura, who has been standing there in shock runs over to Lucky and holds him while she cries.) Laura:(Sobbing) Oh my baby....my baby... Lucky:(Pulling slightly away from Laura so he can look her in the eyes.) It's okay Mom, really I am okay. (Looks over at Luke.) You don't think that a couple of candles could do me in do you? Luke:(Has a feeling of guilt wash over him. He walks over to Lucky to make sure it is really him. He stares at him for a second then grabs him into a big bear hug along with Laura.) I should have known Cowboy, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. Finally Liz stands up breaking up the family moment. Nicholas looks up at Liz with eyes full of worry. Robin who has been standing slightly behind Lucky during these greetings looks at him with anticipation. What was he going to do? Liz:(Barely able to get the words out.) Lu..ck..y? Lucky:(Gets off the stage and walks up in front of Liz and gently touches her cheek.) It's me Angel. Liz:(Backs away slowly from Lucky) No Lucky's dead! I know they gave me his sub way token necklace and he would never take it off. Never! Lucky:(Tries to get closer to Liz) I'm alive Elizabeth. I missed you Angel. Liz:(Shouting and crying at the same time) No! No! (She runs out of the club with Nicholas following close behind her.) Lucky watches her leave sadly. It hurt him that she ran away, but now was not the time to fix things with her. He had to be here for Robin and needed to discuss things with his father. He steps back onto the stage and stands next to Robin. Luke:(Disbelieving)Why didn't you go after her? Lucky:(Sadly) I can't! Jason and Sonny come out of the backroom after hearing the commotion. Jason:(Fearing that his eyes are lying to him he questions) Robin is that you? Everyone now turns their attention to Robin. She steps forward a little and grabs Lucky's hand. She says to herself,''Whew okay I can do this!'' Robin:(A little uncertain of herself) Hi Uncle Mac! Carly goes to stand up but Bobbie pushes her back down. Bobbie: Don't go making a scene Carly this isn't about you. Carly: But the witch is alive. She is going to ruin everything between Jason and me. (Bobbie just shakes her head in disgust.) Mac:(He is holding Felicia's hand tightly and both of their eyes are welling with tears. He looks at Robin in awe, there stood his Robin. He slowly got up and climbed up onto the stage and just looked at her. He cups his chin in his hand. Then he lifts her up off the ground and close to his chest. Fearing that if he let go he would lose her again.) Oh God Robin...I thought..they said that you were gone...Oh GOd Robin...(The tears roll down his cheeks.) Robin! Everyone watching the scene between Uncle and Niece. Tears fall down their cheeks as well. Mac slowly puts Robin back down on her feet. He stands there looking at her not noticing anything around him. Robin:(Quickly her hand finds Lucky's again.) I'd never leave you Uncle Mac. I love you! I missed you so much. (She looks over at Felicia who has just been watching Mac reconnect to the girl who was a daughter to him. Felicia at that moment has never been so touched by anything. She couldn't stop the tears that clouded her vision.) I missed you too Felicia! Felicia:(Gets up and goes to Mac and Robin) Oh I missed you to Honey! (Felicia just smiles at Robin and Robin can tell how much she really meant it.) RObin:(Grabs on to Lucky's hand a little tighter. She asks nervously) I know everyone has a lot of questions, which there are answers to. But first I need to know something. How did I die? (It was the one question that has been eating away at her for the last past three years. Faison tormented Lucky with his death. Faison loved how it killed Lucky to know that Elizabeth was there. But Robin was different, he didn't want her to know how she supposedly died. It was almost in a sick way like he was afraid of hurting her.) Sonny:(Now stepping up in front of the tiny stage. He could tell be the silence that no one wanted to tell her. He thought that this was the least he could do for his little sister. She deserved the truth.) Suicide, you um killed yourself! Both Sonny and Mac go to comfort Robin but Lucky already has his arm around her waist and is holding her to himself. You could tell that Robin is holding on to him for dear life, she looks as if she let go she would lose herself. This doesn't go unnoticed by anybody. Whatever happened to Lucky and Robin formed a bond between them that nobody could break. Sonny: (Decides that he should tell her the rest. He tries his best to choke back the sobs.) You jumped off a bridge in Paris. It was near your apartment. I'm sorry sweetheart. At this Robin looks to Jason. No matter what had happened between them she knows that this must have hurt him to think that she killed herself because of him. He must have thought that because of the way that she did it. She didn't like the thought of him in pain. Jason:(Steps forward) Robin is it really you? (He goes to touch her but Lucky steps protectively in front of Robin.) Lucky: Don't touch her! I don't want you anywhere near her. You couldn't care less if she is dead or alive! Robin:(Quietly to Lucky) I'm okay I can handle this Lucky. Lucky reluctantly lets Robin face Jason Morgan. Robin: It's me. I'm okay. I am alive and I plan to stay that way. I have never and would never try to kill myself. Lucky is right though. You should go to your wife and (Almost pleading with him as tears come harder and harder.) please just don't hurt me anymore. Jason steps back defeated. He realizes now how much he has hurt Robin. He did things that he can't change and can't make up for. She may still be alive but in Robin's eyes he was dead. Luke looked in awe at his son and his best friend's daughter. There before him stood his son who now was probably six feet tall. His hair was still that sandy brown color but longer. His eyes, his eyes they looked haunted. There was a depth of pain and sadness. His soul looked shattered. They held love too. He looked at Robin with love and devotion. Luke thought to himself,''My son likes a Scorpio!'' Mac stood staring at Robin in wonder. He couldn't get over the fact that she was right next to him. Robin, his Robin was alive. She looked different though. There before him was a petite woman. Her hair was dark brown and clung to the middle of her back. But her brown eyes once so full of life were now filled with pain and sadness. Behind them was a shattered soul. He noticed something else. He saw the way Lucky held Robin and comforted her. He saw the way Robin looked at Lucky with love and worry. Did his niece love a Spencer? Luke:(Loudly shouting orders) Everybody out! Sorry Nedly but we have some matters to discuss. I want this club cleared. Bubba, Felicia, and Corinthos stay. And the two new back from the dead corpses of coarse. We have work to do. Everyone starts to exit the club most saying words of joy to Lucky and Robin. Almost all the people there were feeling confused, shocked and happy. Jason: I want to stay. Carly:(Whining) Jase, you need to come home, Michael needs you. (Robin rolls her eyes in disgust. To herself, ''Some things never change.) Lucky: For once I agree with her. (Points to Carly) You should leave. Jason: I could help! Lucky: We don't need your help. We have it all under control. Sonny: I think that he may really be able to help. Robin:(whistles loudly to get everybody's attention, Felicia smiles and says out loud her mother taught her that!) Don't I get a say? First of all no one even knows what happened to Lucky and I! How do you know if you can help if you don't know the problem? There may be nothing wrong. Lucky and I could have taken care of it! I may just want to go home and take a long bubble bath. Lucky:(Smiles slyly) Mmnn sounds good, I think that I will join you! Robin:(Rolls her eyes and hits him on the arm) You always do that! Lucky:(Innocently) What? Robin: Whenever I'm int he middle of making a point or saying something important you interrupt me and say something uncalled for. Lucky: When have I ever done anything like that? Robin: I don't know Mr. Spencer Stone! Lucky: hey you came up with the names. Robin: But you are the one who said that we were married! Mac: What? Luke: Whoa Cowboy how come you didn't tell me? Robin: I said he SAID that we were married! Lucky: Yeah there wasn't enough time for the real thing!(Robin just sits down on a bar stool in defeat and rolls her eyes. If he wanted to pretend that they were married she wasn't going to stop him.) Jason watches this scene unfold and doesn't like it one bit. Lucky and Robin are way too close. He wants to stay and keep an eye on things. Luke watches in amusement. It was like seeing Anna in action. Man did Robin have those Soltoni/Devane genes. He had to admit that his Cowboy sure did have good taste. Mac didn't like what he was seeing. Robin was way to close with this Spencer. Why can't she ever like someone normal? Lucky:(Flashes Robin his sexy grin) I'm sorry Babe! I know that you can handle yourself and you know that I can't resist my little comments. I am sorry if I offended you. Robin:(Smiles at him) Thank you. It's okay just don't do it again. Lucky:(Laughs and salutes Robin) Yes Mam! Robin: What was I saying? Oh yeah, I don't care if Jason stays or goes but she (pointing at Carly) has gotta go. Carly: Listen here Missy, wherever Jason goes I go! (Holds up her left hand) We're married and have had a great life ever since you left! Robin:(Gives Carly a look that says yeah right) I am so sorry that I have been back in town what two hours and already have broken up a marriage. Listen Carly I have more important things to do so if you'll excuse me....(Carly grabs Robin's arm as she tries to go to the back room. Robin pulls out her gun and points it at Carly. Ever since she has been held captive by Faison she doesn't like to be touched by surprise. Sonny, Jason, and Carly look on in surprise. Mac isn't that surprised that she has a gun but doesn't like that fact that she has one cause she may have to use it.) Jason:(Finally stutters out)I thought that you hated guns? Robin:(Shrugs) I do! But I can shoot one pretty damn well. Lucky:(With pride in his voice) Yeah she shot the guard today in the chest then in throat before he could even react. He even had his gun out and Robin's was in her back pocket. Luke: Just like Robert. Mac: Well he did teach her how to shoot when she was like 8 years old. (Laughs slightly) He stopped when she got a better shot then him and Anna. Felicia: Yeah she has an even better shot than Frisco, he is really embarrassed about that. Robin can't help but smile. Sonny:(In shock) So you killed someone? Carly: Saints don't kill!!! Robin: I only killed one person, he deserved it. He was going to shoot Lucky! I also knocked one guy out with the gun but I am pretty sure that he is just going to have a major headache. Felicia: Did you do it how I taught you? Robin: Yeah, if they are on their knees it is really easier. Carly: You guys are all crazy! Robin: No we are Scorpios!! Anyways as I was saying don't touch me I don't like that. Carly: You little witch..ugh I hate you. You will never have Jason never. Robin:(Leans closer to Carly, she just put her gun back.) Let me let you in on a little secret. I HAVE already had Jason. It is not all its cracked up to be. He says that he loves you and will protect you but then he hurts you more than anyone else ever could. So you can keep him cause I don't want him. Everyone looks at Robin in shock especially Jason and Carly. Carly didn't expect it to be this easy. Now it wasn't fun. This obviously was not the same Robin, she didn't take crap from anybody. No, she was stronger and wiser. Jason is deeply hurt by what Robin just said. He admits that he did hurt her but he thought that their love at least meant something. He hurt Robin beyond repair and now she depended on someone else.....Lucky Spencer! (He grabs Carly's arm and drags her towards the door.) Jason: Come on lets go. Robin watches Jason leave with regret in her eyes. She wanted to say something to him but didn't know what. She wished that she never said those things but Carly just gets to her that way. There really was a time when Jason loved and cared for her. There was a time when she could lean on him and not be afraid that she was going to fall but now was different. Sure maybe he did love her but this Robin Scorpio could not afford the downfall. Robin:(Turns to face the crowded) Okay lets get down to business. Everyone moves in to the backroom in silence. Sonny looks at Robin, To himself,''Who changed his little sister? Did he and Jason do this to her or someone else?'' RObin: What why is everyone staring at me? Lucky: They are only looking at your beautiful face! Robin: Nice try Spencer but I look awful. Mac: I think you look like a sight for sore eyes. Felicia:(Smiles her warm smile) Me too. Laura:(Who has been pretty quiet to this point finally speaks.) Okay now lets get down to business. Luke: Yeah Cowboy what happened to you guys? All eyes turn to Robin and Lucky. Lucky goes behind his father's desk and sits in his chair. He puts his feet up on the desk. Robin goes and sits on the arm of the chair. She puts her arms on his shoulder and leg. He has his arms wrapped around her back and another on her leg. Everyone waits expectantly. Robin:(Bitterly) Two words, Cesar Faison.(Mac and Felicia gasp in horror.) Lucky: Dad you may know him better as Herr Kreig!? (Luke practically chokes on the cigar he was smoking. Laura looks at him with anger apparent in her face. Sonny just looks confused.) Lucky: So I see you have heard of him. Mac: I thought that he was dead! Robin: Let me tell you that he is very much alive. Sonny:(Confused) Wait hold up who is Cesar Faison and who is Herr Kreig? Felicia: Cesar Faison is... Mac:(Interrupts) the man who killed my brother and his wife. Robin's parents. Sonny looks over at Robin for conformation. Robin has this far away look in her eyes like she is reliving her parent's death in her mind. He can tell right away by her silence and the look on her face that it is true. Sonny: Okay then who is Herr Kreig? Laura:(Pointing at Luke) His business parent. (Then she hits him) Mac:(Incredulous) You were working with Faison? Luke: Oh God Lucky I had no idea! Lucky:At first I was mad, you know I thought that you would find me. I mean after living on the run for practically my whole childhood who would think that I would die from a fire set off by candles? I kept on waiting for you to show up and rescue me. I thought we don't have to worry my Dad will be here, he'll find us! But after three years I gave up hope. (Lucky is crying softly and Robin is rubbing his back) Robin helped me to understand that you are only human and you couldn't know. Luke:(Disgusted with himself he is crying shamefully) I should have known! Lucky: Don't think like that! Luke: When they first told me that you were gone, I didn't believe it. But Taggert and Bubba over here kept shoving proof in my face. I didn't want to believe it but I wanted to be strong for your mother and sister. Lucky: It's okay Dad. I did okay. I was strong. Robin was there for me, we were there for each other. I couldn't have done it without her, I wouldn't have lasted. Laura:(To Robin) Thank you for being there for my Son when we couldn't. RObin: If Lucky wasn't there for me I would have probably have been Faison' s little sex bunny. ( Her eyes fill with tears as the memories haunt her.) We protected each other. (Robin and Lucky look at each other and nod. Mac couldn't believe what his niece had been through. There was obviously something else underneath the surface. He was sure that he would find out soon enough. One thing was for certain Faison was going to pay! Luke: How come you waited three years to escape? Lucky: Oh I didn't! This is just the first time that it has worked. (As Lucky said that you could see Robin have tears pouring down her cheeks, she stood up and placed a hand over her mouth. She started rocking back and forth. Lucky knew what was going on. Everyone else looked at her like what's wrong with her? Lucky jumped up and took her into his arms. Lucky:(Talking to Robin softly) NO Robin, its okay. I am okay. He isn't going to hurt us anymore. Felicia looked on with tears in her eyes. Mac grew scared what happened to his niece? Lucky sat down with Robin in his arms. She had calmed down but still seemed like she was in a trance. Lucky:(Trying to explain) You see I tried to escape two other times. I never took Robin with me cause I never had a good plan. I didn't want her to get hurt. Faison caught me both times. he like to beat me. His two guards would hold me and he would hit me and he had a whip that he would use. (Everyone was crying by now)He would do this all in front of Robin as some sort of lesson I guess. Even though he wouldn't do that to her but he like to see her scared. She took care of me after. Sometimes I was beaten so bad that I would pass out and not wake up for a couple of days. It was pretty bad. It scared Robin alot. Robin:(She is speaking but is not all together) You can't let him get Lucky, he can't get Lucky. He doesn't like Lucky and he'll kill him for this. Lucky: Don't worry Sweetheart, we'll be okay. Sonny: SO he is still alive? (He swore to himself right there he would kill Faison for what he did to Robin and Lucky.) Lucky: Yeah he should be here by tomorrow. We got out while he was out of the country. He was going to Greece I think. Robin thinks that he is working with someone. Right now we are thinking Helena. It explains why he took me. Luke: Yeah that could work cause I was selling him pieces of the ice princess. Laura: You have it? Luke: Yeah I was selling it to him to make some money for our future. Helena really is a B***H. If she was involved I am really going to kill her this time. (He looks to Mac) You can't use any of this against me right? Mac: If she is involved in this then I will be right next to you when you kill her! Luke: Now this is the kind of commissioner I like! Laura: Is it safe for you guys to be here? Lucky: This time I don't think he will take us again. He has other plans. But he still may want Robin. She is a prize to him just like Anna was. But he never told us why he wanted us. Luke: Well this time we will be ready for him. Robin:(Basically back to normal) You can't be ready for Cesar Faison. He is one sick Bastard. He wants me, like Lucky said I am his Anna I make up for him not getting the real thing. Mac: I'm not letting him take you from me again. Never again. Robin: Well right now I could really use some sleep. Mac: Are you feeling okay? Is everything all right with the protocol? (Sonny and Mac both get worried for a second) Robin: Yes everything is fine I have been taking my protocol. Lucky:(Interrupts)She has just had a rough day and isn't sleeping to well at night because of various reasons. (Robin nods her head in agreement) Mac: Well lets get you home to bed. It is safe to bring her home right? Sonny: I'll put my best guards on the house and you put some officers on there no one should be able to get in. Mac: I will call Taggert and have him send some guys over. Luke: Okay we should meet bright and early tomorrow to start planning how about we meet at the Scorpios say bout seven in the morning. Mac: Sounds good. Luke: Great I'll bring the doughnuts and coffee boy over there (Pointing at Sonny) can bring the coffee. (Robin is too tired to question it) Lucky:(Loudly) Yeah that's okay with me. You know I'm not a kid anymore and me and Robin are going to be involved in these plans. Robin: You may not want to admit it but we know more about Faison then you do. Everyone nods in agreement. Felicia: Well if everything is set here for the night lets go. Everyone heads for the door but Lucky and Robin. Lucky: Can you give us a minute? Luke:(Smiles widely) Sure Cowboy! (Mac looks skeptical for a second then agrees.) Lucky looks over at Robin and takes her hands in his. Lucky: Are you going to be okay tonight without me? Robin: A little full of yourself Spencer? Lucky: Well I don't know if I like the idea of not having you all to myself. Robin:(Smiles at the thought) I'll be okay, I promise. Besides its unfair of me to ask you to stay with me. Your parents need you more than I do. Lucky:(He wanted to say well I need you but thought better of it) Well it is you I am worried about! Robin: I worry about you too. Lucky engulfs Robin into a big hug. Luke was going to the backroom to get his gun but stops when he sees Lucky holding Robin tightly with head to his chest. Luke smiles to himself, Yup he liked where this was going. Finally Robin pulled away. Robin: Be careful Lucky. I can't lose you. see you tomorrow. (She stands on her tiptoes and gives Lucky a quick but passionate kiss on his lips then left the room.) Lucky just stood there in shock. She had kissed him and he liked it. Out Front: Robin: Okay lets go Uncle Mac and Felicia. I want you to tell me everything I missed. (They walked out of the club chatting away.) Backroom: Luke: Well well well Lucky's got a new girlfriend. Lucky: Its not like that, I love Liz. Luke: Yeah that's why you chased after her when she ran out of the club! Lucky: I couldn't, I had to stay here and explain things. Luke: Well if it was the love of my life I would have gone after her. Lucky:(Rubs his eyes in frustration) What if I told you maybe she isn't the love of my life? Luke: Then I would say Wow my Cowboy is in love with a Scorpio! Good thing we could really use some Scorpio ties. Lucky: I didn't say I was in love with her! Luke: You didn't have to. It is understandable, I mean being locked up for three years with only each other can do that to a person. Lucky: It feels so weird not having her by my side right now. I miss her. I just am starting to realize how much I depended on her. When I was at the compound I would lose it and Robin would be the one to put me back together. I would do anything for her. It kills me to see how Jason treated her. He let something so good slip through his fingers. Luke: I think that he knows that son, and the look in his eyes were of a man who just lost everything that meant anything to him. But I also think he knows he lost her to you. Lucky: She doesn't love me like that. Luke: I saw you guys. In fact isn't she the one who kissed you? Lucky: Yeah but.....I don't know. I have to clear something's up first before I can be with her. That is if she wants to. Luke smiles in satisfaction. It is now late at night now. Robin's Room: Robin is laying in her bed staring at the ceiling. She is really tired but can't fall a sleep. She is afraid to fall into the nightmares and Lucky isn't here to hold her or pull her out of them. She needed Lucky but she wouldn't stop his happiness. She also sat there thinking about how much things has changed. Her Uncle Mac and Felicia had a two year old son named Robert. She saw him sleeping, he is a real doll. She almost feels like belong here anymore though. There was so much that has happened and it didn't involve her. She is just glad that her Uncle Mac is happy. Felicia said that he hasn't been this happy in a long long time. She said that Robin is the only one who can Mac to smile like he was now. It may be silly but Robin is glad that Mac loves her like a daughter because to her he was her father sure she would always love Robert but Mac is who she depended on now. She didn't want to leave him ever again. She is pretty sure he feels the same way cause she just got him to go to bed. Robin hears a noise over at the window. Her whole body tenses up and she grabs her gun which is under her pillow. She had to fight Mac to let her keep it. Suddenly a person climbs into her room. She goes to pullback the safety when.... Lucky: Robin its me! Robin: Oh my God Lucky you gave me a heart attack. Lucky: I didn't want to wake you up. Robin: You didn't, I would have to be a sleep for you to do that. Lucky: I couldn't sleep either. That is why I came here. I needed you. Robin: I need you too. Robin pats a spot on her bed next her. She then puts the gun back and pulls down the covers. Lucky goes and lies under the covers with Robin. He opens his arms for her, Robin falls right into them. Its the only place where she felt safe and secure. They needed this sleep because tomorrow there was going to be questions to be answered and plans to be made. But right now there was just Robin and Lucky. They made it this far there is no way they are going to let Faison destroy them now. |
