Chapter 9:

Lucky and Sly are talking when they hear Moreno walk in.
"I think I have finally figured out what I am going to do with you, Lucky."
"Really, because I would really like to know." Not sure he really wants to know at all.
"I want you to write your father a note telling him to meet me tomorrow at 10:00pm so that we can have a chat about how your father is going to kill Morgan."
"You're crazy my father won't hurt Jason, and I won't write the letter. He thinks I am dead anyway? Do you really believe that he will believe that I wrote the letter."
"Your right he will need more than just the letter as proof, but don't worry you will write it." Moreno pulls a gun on Lucky. Lucky stares at the gun. Lucky believes that Moreno will shoot him.
"You need me to bring down Jason."
"There are other ways. Now Lucky will you write the letter?" Lucky nods defeated. "I'll write it, but he won't believe it."
"I'll work on that later. I'll be back in 15 minutes. Moreno left the room and the boys sat and looked at each other.
"I think it's time to move. After Moreno reads the note he sends me to go deliver it. I'll tell Liz to be ready."
"Ok call her now and tell her to be ready in a half an hour." Lucky writes the letter, hoping that his father doesn't get it. He knows that Luke will do something stupid and end up getting people killed. He just hoped it wasn't him.
Sly calls Liz with his cell phone, and tells her to be ready.

Liz puts down the receiver and calls Nikolas's cell phone.
"Cassadine."
"Listen Nikolas it's Liz. Time to move. Meet me outside of Kelly's in a half an hour. We are meet Sly."
"Ok Liz. I hope this works."
"So do I."

Moreno walks in, glad that Sly is gone. He smiles at Lucky and motions for two guys to come in. Lucky looks at them, the fear evident in his eyes.
"Well Lucky I see you finished writing the note. Very good. I have thought about how to make Luke believe that you are alive and a picture speaks a thousand words don't you think?" Moreno nods to his guards. They go over to Lucky and proceeded to beat him up. One guard lands a punch in Lucky's stomach and ribs while the other beats his face. Lucky is helpless against them though, as he is still tied up. He winced in pain as one guard knocks him in the ribs. He blinks, thinking they stopped for a second when he sees Moreno standing over him with a gun in his hand. "No." He whispers, then everything went black.

Chapter 10:

Sly sees Liz talking to some guy. "Hi Liz can I talk to you for a second." Liz nods at Nickolas and follows Sly.
"Liz who is he and why is he here. I told you not to tell anyone."
"Relax Sly, that's Nikolas Cassadine, Lucky's brother, he wants to help." Nikolas walks over to Sly and Liz. Neither one of them notice him.
"From what I heard from Lucky, they don't get along. How do we know we can trust him."
"You need my help."
"No we don't we have it under control."
"Yeah right. If Liz is staying by the car ready to drive out of there than who is going to help you get Lucky out of there?"
Sly considers this. "Ok fine let's go."

Luke finishes the inventory of the club and sits down. He jumps up when a brick is hurled through the window with an envelope attached to it. "Damn kids." He mutters and opens the envelope. What Luke sees shocks him to the core. And rage fills his eyes. Luke notices that there's a note attached to the pictures. "You want your son back wait for further instructions." Luke weighed his options. By the look of the pictures, Lucky was seriously hurt, if not dead. "Fine, I'll wait, but when I find you, you're a dead man."

"Ok. Liz you stay here. If we're not back in 30 minutes get into the car and go to Luke ok?" Sly told Liz.
"Just get him out of there, and be careful."
Sly and Nikolas walk up to the warehouse. "Stay here. Wait until I give you the all clear." Nikolas nods. Sly walks up to the door and looks around he doesn't see anyone and he decides it's safe. "Come on." Nikolas and Sly run into the warehouse. Both stop dead when they see Lucky. He was laying on the bed with blood coming out of his head. His shirt was soaked with blood and big bruises were starting to form on his face and arms. His breathing was shallow and when they called his name they got no response.
"I don't want to move him, but we have got to get him out of here."
"I know Nikolas untie him and I will stand watch." Nikolas looks at Sly and sees Sly pull out a gun. Nikolas is shocked. Sly sees this. "Relax Nikolas if Moreno comes in I have to pretend that I caught you in here, and be able to pretend that I am still working for Moreno."
"Ok. God I thought you said he was ok."
"He was when I left. I don't know what happened." Nikolas goes back to untying Lucky.
Nikolas had just finished untying Lucky when Sly pointed his gun at him.
"Not so fast."

Chapter 11:

Just as Sly pulled the gun on Nikolas Moreno walks in. "Well Sly what do we have here?"
"I just got back from the other errand you had me do, and I was coming back to get the letter when I saw this guy trying to get Lucky out of here. Moreno looked at Nikolas. "Who are you?"
"My name is Nikolas Cassadine."
"A Cassadine?" Moreno looks over at Sly. "Keep them here, but don't touch Cassadine. Tie him up."
"Fine tie me up, but leave Lucky untied. He's not going anywhere."
"Fine. Sly here's the letter deliver it to Luke." Moreno leaves.
"Now what do we do? Lucky is really hurt. I don' t see how we can escape."
"Nikolas, I am going to tell Luke. He'll get you and Lucky out of here."
Sly leaves wondering why Nikolas was ordered not to be touched.

It's been 30 minutes Liz debates whether or not she should go to Luke. She sees Sly out of the corner of her eye and he jumps in the car. "Hit it!" She steps on the gas and speeds away. "Where is Lucky and Nikolas?" Sly sighed. "Moreno came in just as we were about to get out. It made it harder since Lucky was in no shape to sit let alone walk." Liz stepped on the brakes and looked at Sly. "What do you mean? You said he was fine!!"
"He was when I left!! I don't know what happened I was meeting with you! All I know is when I got there he was unconcious. Now come on we have to get to Luke."
Liz puts the car and gear and goes to Luke's club. She can't believe how close they were to getting him back just to lose him again, and now Nikolas was taken too.

Liz pulled up to Luke's club just in time to see Luke running out of the club. "Luke wait!" Luke looks at Sly. "What? I'm in a hurry, I have to get Lucky." "Hold on Mr. Spencer. We were just there." Sly says nervously this was going to be a lot harder than he thought. "Do I know you and what do you mean you were just there?"
"Luke, I am Sly Eckert. Here this is from Moreno written by Lucky." "I'd give you a hug and tell you how much I've missed you, but we gotta find Lucky. You had better explain and explain quickly. I also want an explanation for these." Luke shows him the pictures of Lucky. Sly thinks he's going to be sick. Liz takes a look at the pictures and gasps. "His face...his beautiful face..." Tears run down her cheeks.
Sly tells Luke that Lucky had caught him working for Moreno, and how Nikolas and Liz had tried to get him out of there. "What about the pictures Sly?" "My guess is that when Lucky had said that you would'nt believe just the letter Moreno decided to give you proof."
"I am going to kill Moreno, but first we have to get Lucky and Nikolas out of there."

"Lucky? Lucky wake up." Nikolas said, trying to get him up. But he wasn't budging. Nikolas sighed. Lucky started to stir and Nikolas looked at him with new intensity. But it was nothing. "I'm going to get us out of here Lucky...I promise." Again Nikolas thought that Lucky had moved again. "Lucky?" A groan escapes Lucky's lips. "Lucky come on, wake up. You can do it." Lucky stuggles but his eyes don't open. He moves and a wave of nausea passes over him. He squeezes his eyes shut, hoping it will pass. It doesn't and he rolls over to the side of the bed. "Lucky are you ok?" Stupid question Nikolas mentally tells himself. Lucky rolls back on to his back and groans again. Lucky doesn't seem to realize Nikolas is there. "Lucky can you hear me? Lucky?" Nikolas became panicked when Lucky didn't respond. Nikolas got up and looked at Lucky who was laying on his back with his eyes closed. Nikolas damned the ropes on his hands and checked his pulse and breathing. He was just sleeping. He sighed and sat down on the edge of the bed and watched Lucky sleep. Nikolas wished Sly would get back. He didn't know what to do about Lucky. He was pretty sure that Lucky had a concussion, and he was still bleeding a little, but there was nothing he could do with his hands and legs tied.

Sly walked down to hall to the room Lucky and Nikolas were being held in. He hoped this plan worked. He walked in the room and held his breath as he looked at Lucky. He cleared his throat and began to talk to Nikolas. "Nikolas I just got back from talking to Luke."
"I am surprised your still standing."
"Frankly so am I. I think it's because Liz was there, and the fact that I am Lucky's cousin helped. How is he?" Nikolas sighed. "I'm not sure. He woke up briefly and vomited. He never opened his eyes though, and when I talked to him I didn't get a response."
"Great. It means he probably has a concussion. Well I figured out why they beat him up."
"Why?"
"I think he wanted to get Luke mad. He took pictures of Lucky and sent them to Luke." Nikolas sighed. "So are we getting out of here? Lucky needs to get to a hospital." Sly nods. "Yeah, Luke should be talking to Jason right about now."

Chapter 12:

"Morgan can you meet me at the club in a half an hour there are some things we need to discuss."
"I'll be there."
"You better." He hangs up the phone and looks at Liz who is staring at the picture of Lucky. "Liz? Are you ok?" Liz looks up at Luke with tears in her eyes. "They hurt him." "I know Liz, and they are going to pay for it." They will pay with their lives, Luke thought to himself.

Lucky was slowly starting to wake up. He felt terrible. His whole body hurt especially his ribs and head. He couldn't seem to focus on anything, however he did notice that he was untied. He tried to sit up, but he rethought that move as pain shot through his ribs making him groan. "Lucky?" Lucky turned his head. "Nikolas?" He whispered. He lay back down and put his hand over his ribs. "What are you doing here?" Nikolas looked at Lucky; glad to see he was awake. "I'll tell you later. How are you doing?" Lucky smirked. "I feel like hell. What happened?" "Moreno came in while I was untying you so Sly pretended to hold me at gun point." "What about Liz?" 'Oh god what if she was caught.' "She's fine. Sly and Liz went to your father afterwards." Lucky looks at Nikolas and nods his head. He winces and makes a note to himself never to move again. Nikolas notices this. "Is they're anything I can do Lucky? You look like hell." "Nikolas in case you haven't noticed you're tied up. There isn't a whole lot you can do. Thanks for asking." Nikolas was confused by Lucky's reaction. There wasn't the usual hostility between them. Lucky noticing Nikolas's confused look changed the subject.
"When is Sly expected back?" "Uhh...shortly I think. He didn't really say. But it shouldn't take to long to get your father." Suddenly they hear the door open and Sly walks in. Sly looks over at Lucky and notices that he's awake. "Lucky how do you feel?" "I've felt better what's the news from my father?" "He called Jason Morgan and they are going to meet." "What about Liz? I don't want her involved. She can't get hurt." "She won't. She's at your house with Laura, Bobbie and Lulu." "Do you know what the plan is?" Nikolas asks. "Not sure yet. At 12:00 tonight I go to Luke's and find out."

Jason's limo pulled into Luke's club. He nodded at the driver and got out. He saw Luke sitting at the bar staring at him. "What's going on Luke." Luke's stare quickly turned into a glare. "You tell me." He threw the pictures at Jason. "Why does your enemy have my son?" "Lucky? I thought he was dead?" "Well thank god he's not. Although, you can't tell from these pictures." "I don't know why Moreno would want Lucky." "Well actually that's something I do know. See Moreno wants me to kill you." Jason looked at Luke, shocked. "And you know I'd do it if I had no other choice left. I want my son back. But if we work together we might be able to avoid killing you." "I'd appreciate that." Jason says wryly. "Any ideas?" "Yeah. You go get Lucky and the dark prince while I distract Moreno." Jason and Luke continue to work out the details.
