| Chapter 5: Emily walked down the hall of the hospital. Someone called after her and she turned around. When she did she saw Joe. "Joe!" She exclaimed and ran over to him. "Emily, babe how are you?" He asked as she ran into his arms. "I'm wonderful. I can't believe your really here." "Well I am. Though I did run into my ex-wife." "Your ex-wife is in Port Charles?" "Yes, in fact I believe you know her. Elizabeth Webber-Berkley." "You and Elizabeth! I never would have guessed that." She said. "Yes well she never got over Lucky Spencer." "My finace?" "Yeah, your finace." Elizabeth hit the gas pedal on her rental car a little to hard and speed down the road. Her eyes blurry with tears. She had lost Lucky and had to deal with Joe. The car hit a a street light and Elizabeth blacked out. About 15 minutes later She was rushed into the the ER. Lucky was the doctor on call. He worked feverishly on her, after wards she was fine except in a coma she might not wake from. She was transfered to CCU. Lucky walked down to the cafeteria and saw Emily and Joe. He walked over to them, "Em--" "Lucky, honey what's wrong?" "I just brought Liz up to the CCU. She's in a coma." "No! She can't be!" Joe declared unable to believe this. "Who are you?" Lucky asked. "I'm Joe Berkley, Elizabeth's ex-husband." |
