Chapter 2:

Elizabeth stepped into the airport terminal. Things were so different now, just the feeling of the town was different to her. She walked pass the gift shop and pass the announments of Lucky and Emily's impending wedding. It was all the Buzz around the town of Port Charles.

Elizabeth caught a taxi and went to the Port Charles Hotel where she got a room. She unpacked her things including a red dress that could stop traffic. She then showered and changed into a pair of tight black pants and a mint green shirt. She looked at her image in the mirror and tosseled her dark chestnutt hair.

Emily and Lucky sat in the smokey dining room of Luke's. They were holding hands as Elizabeth walked in. She saw them and her stomach turned with disgust. She took a deep breath and reminded herself why she was here. 'Don't worry Liz, they'll never catch on. Lucky loves you not Emily. It won't take long.'

She slowly walked over to them. She stopped and said, "Lucky, Emily, how are you?"

Emily looked up and smiled. She immediatly jumped up and hugged Liz. "Liz! What are you doing here? I thought you would never set foot in Port Charles again."

"Things change." She said as out of the corner of her eye she looked Lucky up and down.

"Yeah they do." Lucky said as he noticed her outfit.

"So what brought you back to town?" Emily asked as the three sat down.

"I needed some inspiration. I have a contract for a new fashion line but no ideas. I figured why not come to the place where it all started. Ya know."

"Sounds like a plan to me." Emily said and looked at her fiance, "Lucky are you alright?"

"Yeah I;m fine." He said looking at his watch. "Darn I've got to get to the Hospital. It was nice seeing you again Liz. Emily I'll see you at home later tonight."

Lucky was gone before either Emily or Elizabeth could say anything.

"So, how's your husband?" Emily asked.

"We got divorced. things just never fully clicked between us."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"Yeah so am I."
