Chapter 13

LIz found out Ruby left her half the club. Lucky returned Liz and Hallie
home from their trip to Sarah's grave.

Lucky during a giant music break decided to log onto the internet. He found
the e-mail he was looking for. He read it and wrote back.

Dear Slick,

That guy again huh. Your other best friend and my worst enemy. J/K.
If you like him so much he must be a really cool guy. It's funny you
mention the truth and the lies. I've lived my whole life through them and up
until 3 years ago I didn't care then one lie destroyed my family. I got over
it but the ramifications of lying have perpitrated my system. Okay the
answer to the question you wanted to know. My eyes are also blue the kind
that twinkle I guess. They are light and easily readable. I'm an open book
with my eyes. The woman I want to spend the rest of my life with will also
have easily readable eyes it'll just take me some time to get to know her. I
don't know I guess I'm the old fashioned romantic but that's how I see love.

love,
    Cowboy

He turned off the comp and checked his watch. He quickly signed off the air
and headed over to Liz's house. She ran into the house and found that Lucky
wasn't there. Good she said. She quickly hopped into the shower. Meanwhile
Lucky knowing where Liz keeps her spare key let himself in. He smelled
himself and realized he hadn't taken a shower in 2 days. He thought what the
hell Liz wouldn't mind if he took a shower in her house. He scidaddled up
the steps and into her bathroom which was rising in steam but he didn't
notice then Elizabeth let out a scream and Lucky let out an
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggghhhhhhhh! Elizabeth quickly grabbed a towel and
pushed him outside the door.

"What are you doing here!?!"

"You asked me to come remember."

"Why were you in the bathroom!?!"

"I was going to take a shower I thought you wouldn't mind."

"No of course I wouldn't mind if I wasn't in the shower at the time!" She
yelled pocking her finger at him.

"Elizabeth I promise I didn't see anything." Lucky pleaded.

"You swear?"

"Of course besides if I did it's not like I haven't seen any other womans'
body before and-"

"Lucky don't push it."

"So do you mind if I take a shower?"

"No problem take all the time you need just make sure that doesn't happen
again."

"I promise Elizabeth."

"I'll take your word for it." Liz said as she sauntered off. Lucky got into
the shower and at first was startled by the cold water but realized Liz took
a long hot shower. He cleaned himself off and in about 5 mintues flat he was
dressed and ready while Liz was still in her towel.

"Slow-poke." Lucky said.

"Hey I'm a girl Mr. I can just roll out of bed and go to school."

"Fine, fine I get it. So what fun friend activities do you have planned for
us."

"A little game of truth or truth."

"Sounds like a girly game."

"It won't be I promise."

"Anything for you Elizabeth."

"Don't you always do anything for me?"

"You bet."

"Okay well let me just blow dry my hair and get changed."

"You got it."

"And Lucky take a shower."

He laughed and got into the shower. He made it out quickly and Liz was still
in her robe by the time he got dressed.

"You know that I don't care how you look right?"

"Of course you do."

"Elizabeth I don't come on you don't need to do your hair or put on that make
up of yours. Just put on some clothes and we'll start the night."

"Give a girl 15 minutes. You can even use my computer while your at it."

"Wow what a woman?"

Elizabeth went on the computer and set it to guest so Lucky could sign onto
AOL

"Here you go."

"Ten minutes."

"13."

"Deal."

Liz disappeared into the bathroom and then Lucky signed on. No new mail from
Slick but since he had time he figured why not write her another.

To: Slick EW52
From: Cowboy78

Dear Slick,

Twice in one day I'm really on a roll! Well I have about 10 minutes
to spare so I guess I'm trying to get in more conversation with you. It
seems like we never run out you know? I have no idea what I'm talking about
but whatever it is it sounds really corny but that's not how it is supposed
to be. I have another everlasting conversation friend. A girl too. Maybe I
relate better with them who knows. And the thing is silence is even
comfertable with us. I've never had silence with you and I hope I never do.

love,
cowboy.

Lucky signed off the computer and turned it off.

"Are you ready?" Lucky asked.

"I still have 30 seconds."

"26 now."

"Quit complaining Spencer it doesn't suite you."

"Gosh Elizabeth takes so long. Elizabeth doesn't have high self esteem when
we know she's so beautiful."

"Okay okay I get the point and whinning isn't the same as complaining."

"But I excel in both."

"Okay you asked for it I'm coming out 8 seconds early."

"Finally I-"

Elizabeth stepped out in a short lavender flowing dress and Lucky mouth just
popped right open. He could't belive the site that was right in front of him.

"So what do you think? Hallie picked it out for me."

"She has great taste."

"Thanks." Elizabeth said a little shyly and then quickly averted her eyes
from Lucky. She didn't want to admit the fact that she wore that dress
especially to impress him.

"So-um tell me about this game of yours."

"It's not really a game it's just a long conversation between friends."

"Just what I've always wanted a long conversation. They only people I can
hold out on those with are my family and Emily."

"Lucky people. Now it's my turn to be added to that list."

"Why do you want to be added to that list?" Lucky said trying to stir her
emotions.

"Well I figure if I get onto the list of the most stubborn person in the
world I have my job cut out for me."

"Elizabeth I'm sure you can talk to yourself for hours and house."

"Oh your playing that game well take this." Liz said as she grabbed and
pillow and hit it at Lucky's face.

"I can't believe you just did that."

"Believe it. In fact I'll do it again."

"You wouldn't dare."

"Try me." Liz said as she wacked him again.

"Now your asking for it woman."

"Bring it on."

You're telling me things
I already know
You take me places
I never would go
You act so freely
Like the world was your own
You can do anything you want
But don't you leave me alone

He grabs the pillows and starts chasing her all around her room. She shrieks
and quickly ducks before he can hit her with a pillow. She gets him in the
face again and runs toward the bed getting on top of it.

"Your dead Webber."

"Try me Spencer." She said while pointing her fingers like a gun at him
while blowing on them. He then lunges for her agian but she quickly averts
from his grasp leaving him lying on the bed in defeat.

And no one feels
And no one feels like we do.

"Come on you can do better than that."

"Your not some closet pillow fighter are you?"

"Come on I have a three year old kid she's taught me every trick in the book."

He smiled at her slyly and got up from the bed before she could realize it
and hit her with a pillow.

When will we learn
that nothing is real
And everything's change
except what we feel
and out on you doorstep I was all butterflies
cause all of the moonlight in the sky
was no match for your eyes

"You cannot hit me like that. This means war Spencer."

"Bring it on." She drops her pillow after he says that he and looks at her
perplexed. "Why did you do that?"

"Because I don't need a pillow to win."

"How can you win a pillow fight without a pillow?"

"Like this." she said as she tickled him making him fall backwards on the
bed.

"Come on stop it Elizabeth you know I'm ticklish."

"Not until you've said I won."

"Never." he said while he blues eyes twinkled back at her. She never
noticed them before.

And no one feels
And no one feels like we do

She put back the hair that was in her face and found herself on top of Lucky
on her bed. He starred back at her and then he softly stroaked her hair
getting it out of her face. She bit her lower lip and slowly slid off of him

You're telling me things
I don't want to hear
You are my answer
When nothing is clear
And the music play softly
As you whispered a word
I had to sigh and catch my breath
from what I had heard

"Games over." she said.

"So you admit defeat."

"Defeat I had you begging for mercy."

"Fine fine you won Elizabeth Emma-Jean Webber."

"And you lost Lucas Lorenzo Spencer Jr."

"It doesn't matter besides I got to look into your eyes. I'm the winner."
he said while scratching his head. He averted her eyes. Elizabeth's heart
nearly leaped out of her chest.

"Um do you want something to eat."

"Every second of the day."

"Ribs and cheese fries?"

"Of course."

And no one feels
And no one feels like we do

They sat down to dinner which Elizabeth had elborately set up by candlelight.

"Very nice my compliements to your table setter upper."

"Thanks I'll make sure to call her. You know I get it professionally done
every night."

"But of course."

"So um-"

"Look what I said earlier wasn't meant to make you feel uncomfertable it was
just something I said."

"No it didn't I just wanted you to pass the extra babeque sauce."

"Oh. Well I meant what I said anyway. I never noticed how pretty your eyes
are."

"Thank you."

"I don't mean that just because I'm your friend but I truely mean it."

"I get it Lucky thank you. Did anybody ever tell you your eyes twinkle?"

"Let me let you in on a little secret my eyes don't twinkle unless your
around."

"They do too."

"Nope just ask anybody."

"Well my eyes don't smile unless you around."

"Good that settles it our eyes are perfect for each other."

"We are too." Elizabeth mumbled.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing absolutely nothing."

"Well are you ready for a game of truth of truth."

"Finally the suspense it killing me."

"Where do you want to start?"

"I'm not going first. I talk to much about myself."

"Mr. Sensitive you barely talk about yourself."

"Fine I'll go first. So we're saying our life stories tonight huh."

"You bet."

"Can't wait to hear yours."

Chapter 14

"Okay before we start Lucky I have some news for you your not going to
believe."

"What?"

"Well I went to visit Ruby's room today. It was just like I remembered it
even smelled like her. I found this letter she wrote to me and a couple of
years back she bought the second half of the club from Sonny."

"You mean Luke's?"

"Yep and she gave it to me."

"Your kidding me. That's great Elizabeth."

"I have mixed feelings about this."

"Elizabeth you could manage the place. Don't you see now you have money to
fall back on start a college fund for Hallie buy a new car."

"Hold on a sec Lucky I'm not ready for all of those things an the
responsitbility of this."

"I think you should show my father he'll be so shocked Ruby pulled this off
behind his back."

"I'm thinking of selling it back to Sonny."

"Whatever you want."

"I have to think about this I mean it's my future and more important
Hallie's."

"Good thinking."

"So time for me to tell you things about me."

"That's what this night is for isn't it."

"Yes."

"I think I'm in love."

"With who?"

"With this guy on the internet."

"Your internet guy."

"Yep."

"Are you sure I mean you don't know him and-"

"I know it sounds obsurd but I feel close to him."

"Then meet him in some public place and I'll be there."

"You'll be there..."

"Just in case he turns out to be a bad guy."

"We could go online right now and check to see if he sent me any mail."

"Okay I would like to talk to this guy anyway."

Liz went to the computer but was unable to sign on. "It's busy."

"Must be fate telling you not to like this guy."

"Lucky."

"Okay, okay it's just my wishful thinking I mean I can't share you with
anyone."

"Nothing will change."

"Change is a good thing."

"That's what people say when something is going to happen that you don't
like."

"Not all of the time. This is the exception."

"Fine. Anyway I was kind of wondering if you would come with me to see Luke."

"Let's go now the club is still open"

"Do you want to?"

"Hey I'd do anything for you."

"Thanks."

"You need you bags."

"I'll get them later."

They get into Lucky's car and drive on over. Luke is in the back room when
Liz comes in to tell him the news. He starts chuckeling and welcomes her
into the business. He tells Claude to give her and guided tour leaving Lucky
and Luke together.

"So dad."

"Son I forgot to mention something the other day."

"What's that?"

"Remember Ruby called someone Slick?"

"Yeah of course I do."

"That was Elizabeth." Luke said.

"You've got to be kidding me."

"Nope the old man never kids. She called her that because she dropped 52
plates the first week at Kelly's but she loved her and kept her on."

"Gosh Liz is Slick who would have thought."

Suddenly a waitress came in. "Luke we need some more whiskey."

"I'll get it excuse the old man Lucky."

Lucky sat down smiling at the fact that Liz is Slick. He knew they had some
special connection. Then Slick EW52 popped into his head. Slick was Liz's
nickname and EW could be Elizabeth Webber who broke 52 plates. No it
couldn't be her but the coinsidince was uncanny. She then walked into the
room.

"Hey Lucky I'm so excited the place looks great."

"Yeah it does. Oh wait hold on you have an eyelash on your face."

"Can you get it off?"

"Sure." Lucky said as he got it off and told her to make a wish and she
blew. In her heart she wished for Cowboy78. Then he noticed her eyes. "Hey
your eyes are sometimes blue and sometimes gray."

"Oh I know it's annoying. My grandfather called me bray eyes."

"He did?`

"Yeah you know the combination of blue and gray."

"Bray." was all Lucky could say. Elizabeth was Slick EW52 she was the love
of his life. She was his perfect woman but he couldn't open his mouth and
say it to her. She told him that she loved Cowboy but what if things changed
if she knew it was Lucky. He needed some time to think. " Um, Elizabeth I'm
not feeling so well so could we possibly take a raincheck."

"Sure whatever you want Lucky just get some rest."

"Here take my car I need to walk."

"But if your not feeling well-"

"Really it's just my mind you know thinking too much about Ruby I need some
alone time."

"If you say so Lucky."

"I'll see you Elizabeth."

"Bye Lucky." Liz said as Lucky walked away. He made it to the docks before
sitting down and reflecting. He sat down and started talking to himself.

"I can't believe this Elizabeth. It's Elizabeth. I'm in love with Elizabeth
but why couldn't I see it in real life why I am attracted to letters but why
couldn't I see it. Why? I mean she's pretty what am I talking about she's
gorgous. She's the most beautiful woman in the world. Her eyes are prettier
than all the stars in the sky. I just don't know what to do I don't know if
I'm ready or if it's real. I have had relationships before and they haven't
worked out is this love stuff real or am I just in love with the idea of
love."

"I think your in love." someone said as they walked up to Lucky.

"Nikolas what are you doing here?" Lucky said.

"I took at walk and just decieded to stop by Kelly's for some Chile when I
noticed you here. Talking to yourself again little bro."

"Little bro you haven't called me that in a while."

"Well I think you need some big bro advice."

"From you? The it took me three years to realize I'm in love with Emily guy?"

"I know I'm no expert and I know it took me a while to realize my feelings
but I've been there Lucky. I've had the best friend that I didn't know
about. That I didn't know I was in love with and when I did it was big and I
had to tell her right away."

"How do you know who I'm in love with?"

"It's Elizabeth it has to be Elizabeth I mean who else."

"It's Elizabeth-"

"I knew it. I knew it-"

"But before you get cocky here's the thing I'm in love with the letters we've
been sending back and forth and if I was in love with her why wouldn't have I
been able to see it before. I mean she can't be the one if I didn't see it."

"You've seen it this whole time right in front of your face but you just
couldn't really see it until now. I mean everytime you look at her does your
heart beat faster or you just feel better whenever you talk to her."

"Yes, I feel all of those things. I mean when I see her I just want to touch
her and take her in my arms and just hold her ofrever."

"Then is it Hallie. Is there something wrong with Hallie?"

"I love Hallie like she's my own it's just me. Something is wrong with me."

"Lucky I can't tell you what's wrong with you and I think you just need to
figure out if you found true love. I knew that when I found Emily and if
anybody else ever found that I would never let it go. Right now I really
need some Chilie and I can tell you need some time alone."

To Liz.

She made her way home puzzled by Lucky. She turned on the computer and
checked her e-mail. She sent Cowboy one back.

To: Cowboy78
From: Slick EW52

Dear MM,

Wow two e-mail in one day! I'm so privilaged. Do you ever notice that all
eyes express one constant thing it's like we're looking for love and looking
for that one perfect person. I don't know about perfect people it's becaus
I'm far from that. Today has been one strange affair after another.
Remember your wrost enemy? Well, let's just say we accidently saw each
other's birthday suits. Not on purpose nothing romantic happened or anything
but I just needed to tell you. It's my new honestly policy. Back to love
did you ever notice that people have to reinvent themselves for other people.
I always hate that about relationships but with you it's different I can be
myself. Your a person I can express true honesty to. Well, there is another
person we we're supposed to have this big honesty kind of night with our life
stories but he said he wasn't feeling well. That is major point reduction.
I'm sorry I have to go work on this english essay about what we think the
true meaning of love is.

love,
    Slick

She sighed and just as she was about to sign on Cowboy78 IMed her.

Cowboy78: Hey I need to talk to you.
Slick EW52: Sure what's wrong?
Cowboy78: Nothing is wrong I just want to meet you tonight.
Slick EW52: Tonight?
Cowboy78: In a very public place I promise I just need to talk to you face to
face.
Slick EW52: How about Kellys?
Cowboy78: I was actually just going to recomend that.
Slick EW52: How will I know it's you.
Cowboy78: I'll find you. Wear a lavender top.
Slick EW52: I'll meet you there in ten mintues?
Cowboy78: Make it 7 and a half.

Chapter 15

Lucky turned off of the computer and jumped into his car while Liz quickly
checked her make-up and hair and changed into a lavander top. This was it,
this was the moment she had waited for. She called Lucky's number to see if
he would like to come with her but all she got was his answering machine.
She picked up her coat and left. She was 30 seconds early and sat down at a
table. Lucky spied her through the window and then picked some flowers from
the flower box. He hesitated one moment to check if he was doing the right
thing but then he remembered her laugh, the way her hair tossed, everything
and her eyes. Those eyes. Lucky walked in as a surprised Liz said hi. He
said hey back.

"What are you doing here?" Liz asked.

"Um, I just uh came here for some chile."

"Wow well actually I wanted to call you because I'm meeting him tonight."

"Meeting the guy your in love with."

"Yeah him. Wow your psychic."

"That lavander top looks great on you."

"Thanks he wanted me to wear it."

"So are you nervous?"

"Kind of but in a way I'm releaved and excited."

"Your eyes smile when you get excited. I want to talk about our friendship."

"What about it? Is something wrong."

"I think our friendship is like the rain."

"The rain?"

"Natural kind of like love."

"Love should be natural someone once told me." Liz said looking confuse
wondering what was going on. Lucky started using stuff from the e-mails.
Then Luke came into Kelly's.

"Well hello Cowboy, Ms. Webber." Luke said walking by to the counter.

"Cowboy?" Liz asked with her eyes widened. "Your him." she whispered.

"I am Elizabeth I'm Cowboy78."

"Your the Mystery Man on the PC radio. Your the man I fell in love with."
Liz said.

"I wanted to tell you when I found out but-"

"No I can't believe you. I can't believe you didn't tell me your always
telling me about telling the truth and being honest but you don't do that
with me. I bet you don't really love me your just uuuuuuuggghhhh!" Liz
yelled while storming out. Lucky ran after her and turned her around.

"Elizabeth I didn't know until earlier this evening."

"Why didn't you tell me then."

"I didn't know what to say. How about I'm your internet pal who happens to
be in love with you. It isn't simple."

"Why did it take you 3 hours then."

"I had to think about what happened. I had to think about if we'd be right
for each other I mean look at us Elizabeth we're the same but so different."

"I think it's the differences that get in our way. I can't love you."

"You can't stop love when it's as true as ours."

"What true love I thought you really didn't believe in true love."

"I do with us."

"Oh another lie you know what I want you to stay out of my life and Hallie's
as well. Don't go near her."

"Elizabeth please."

"No Lucky and your wrong I can stop loving you in fact I don't love you is
that good enough?"

"It isn't enough to convince me."

"Leave me alone."

"I can't I love you." Lucky whispered as she ran away crying. The tears
wouldn't stop rolling down her cheeks. She couldn't help looking back at
Lucky the things they did the way she didn't know she felt when she saw him.
Good thing Hallie was away. Oh Hallie how she loved Lucky she coudln't keep
her away from him almost impossible. He acted like a father to Hallie. He
was the best person she could ever imagine. Lucky sighed and sat down at the
tables outside of Kellys. He decided he couldn't go after her. It was her
decision. He looked at the time he had to crank out his english essay. It
was due the next day.

The next day during class.

The professor, "You all have showed effort into this assignment but some more
than others. One in particular." he said. Liz bit her lip and looked at
Lucky. He couldn't face her and she just put her head down and starred at
her desk. "I'm going to read an exert from this now pay attention."
(Author's note: I can't write and I certainly cannot write college level so
bear with me.) "Love, what is love you ask? I couldn't answer that up until
a month ago you see I feel in love. Not the puppy dog I love how she looks
in her sweater kind of love but the real deal." Oh no Lucky said to himself
as he lowered his head and his cheeks blushed. He couldn't believe the
professor was reading his eassy. Liz noticed Lucky's sudden drop and
realized he must have wrote it. The professor continued, "Love is that knot
you get in your stomach when she walks by or the twinkle in your eye when
she's around. Love is also as fleeting as the night it comes and goes but it
can't stay forever. Sooner or later you have to test it out in the sunshine
to see if it works and if it doesn't it's back to the darkness to find
another. But if your lucky enough to find that kind of love the kind that
was already in the light then you have found true love. True love is often
never found but once it is denial is never an option." He said as the bell
rang. "Class dismissed."

Liz stopped Lucky outside of class, "Did you write that essay?"

"Does it matter?"

"No but I just wanna know."

"What's it to you?"

"Lucky please."

"Yes are you happy I wrote it and the thing is I'm crazy because I don't
regret a thing about it. I don't regret loving you Elizabeth ever and I know
things will never be the same but at least you know how I feel and I gave it
my best." Lucky said as he stormed off. Liz stood there dumbfounded. Was
she so wrong to do this to Lucky? She needed time to sort out her feelings
just like him. She picked up Hallie from Jen's to drop her off at daycare so
Liz could attend her next class.

"Where's Lucky mommy?" Hallie asked accustemmed to seeing Lucky on Mondays.

"He couldn't make it honey. In fact he won't be making it ever again honey.
Lucky and I had a fight." Liz told Hallie kneeling down to her level.

"Never again?" she said walking slowly.

"I'm so sorry honey maybe at daycare but that's all I can offer to you."

"Some Lucky is better than no Lucky at all. What did you fight about?"

"Silly grown-up things."

"Please try and make-up with him. I love Lucky."

"Oh I know you do sweetheart. So do I." she said giving her daughter a hug.

Lucky was already a the daycare center. He was getting anxious would Liz
pose good on her threat and never let him see Hallie? That little girl was
apart of his life and he could never give her up.

"Lucky!" Hallie screamed jumping into his arms.

"Mm how is my little princess I've missed you so much. Sorry I wasn't there
to pick you up today."

"That's okay mommy explained it to me."

"Where is your mommy?" Lucky asked.

"She's gone but she'll be back to pick me up."

"Well let's say we have some fun."

"Yeah!" Hallie said.

They spent the afternoon playing. Liz finished her class and then went home
to do some work before picking up Hallie. She found herself starring at a
computer screen and not being able to do anything. Just starring.

Its been hours seems like days
Since you went away
And all I do is check the screen
To see if you're okay
You don't answer when I phone
Guess you want to be left alone
So I'm sending you my heart, my soul
And this is what I'll say

I'm sorry, oh so sorry
Can't you give me one more chance
To make it all up to you
E-mail my heart
And say our love will never die
And I, I know you're out there
And I know that you still care
E-mail me back and say our love will stay alive
Forever.......... e-mail my heart

She finally picked the mouse and clicked on write new mail.

Dear Cowboy,

"No that sounds dumb erase it. Um Dear Lucky, no not that either." she
picked up the photo of her and Lucky at the park sitting on 'their' swings.
They were laughing and for the first time Liz could see herself only with
Lucky. No one else mattered. She went to pick up Hallie but Lucky had
already left but she had a plan.

"Hey Halzers how would you like to see mommy's school."

"Yeah!" she said taking her mom's hand.

"Now this is very important because we're going to visit Lucky."

"Lucky was sad today mommy."

"He was?"

"I think he's in love with you."

"I sure hope so."

Meanwhile Lucky was playing Mystery Man on the radio. Liz drove up to the
campus and grabbed her cell phone. She made it to the front desk with Hallie
before being stopped.

"Sorry Miss no one allowed beyond this point during Mystery Man hours."

"Oh but he knows me." Liz said to the gaurd.

"Yeah right and I'm Madonna."

The gaurd then turned away and Liz crunched down to Hallie level

"Can you do mommy a favor?" Liz asked.

"Uh-huh."

"I want you to cry and scream really loud okay until I tell you to stop."
Liz asked.

"Really, no trick."

"No trick."

"Okay mommy. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHhhhhhhhhh!" Hallie screamed at the
top of her lungs. The security gaurd almost went deaf.

"Mystery Man is this little girl's father and she misses him dearly we need
to go upstairs."

"Fine fine go just keep her quiet." the gaurd yelled.

Liz told Hallie to continue until the reached the elavator. They went up to
floor three and then sat down in the lobby.

To Lucky.

"Now it's your favortie time I'm the guy with the answers to all of your
problems call in now. Okay caller number one you are?"

"I'd rather not say."

"That's cool so what can I help you with."

"There's the guy. He told me that he loved me and I was rude to him. I want
to let him know that I love him back."

"Why are you telling me this why don't you go an tell this guy. I'm sure
he'd be very happy."

"Well if you were him how would you react?"

"I'd be happy that someone loved me who I'd love in return. Why do you ask?"

"Because your the guy."

"What?"

"I'm in love with you Mystery Man."

"Elizabeth?"

"Cowboy I love you and I can't imagine myself without you. Neither can
Hallie. I know I've been horrible and just plan mean to you but I love you."
Liz said as Lucky ran out of the DJ room Liz continued to talk. "I just
needed to realize it for myself that your the one and Hallie just loves you
your like a father to her-" Before she could finish she was cut off by a
kiss. One so full of passion she felt like her knees were weak even though
she was sitting down.

"I love you too." Lucky said leaning his forhead to hers.

"Wow is all I can say." Liz said.

"Again again." Hallie said. They laughed and kissed each other and walked
out of the studio with Hallie in Lucky arms and Liz holding Lucky's hand.
They went to Lukes to celebrate this coming of age.

"Well how is my little lady here?" Luke asked taking Hallie in his arms.

"Great thank you very much. Lucky told my mommy he loves her." Hallie said.
Lucky just put his arm around Elizabeth and they both smiled. Luke was
grinning from ear to ear.

"Well my Cowboy finally did it didn't he. I was wondering how long it was
going to take you both." Luke said.

"You knew?" Lucky asked.

"Oh come on I knew Liz's e-mail address right when you said it to me and it's
written over both of your faces. Do you take your old man for an idiot?
Please if I can save the world from freezing I can certainly help my son fall
in love." Luke said. "Now little princess let's say you and me give your
mommy and Lucky some time alone."

"Are we going to play?" Hallie.

"Whatever you want. How about playing with your pal LuLu huh?" Luke asked.

"Yeah!" Hallie said. "Bye bye mommy."

"I'll stop by your house and get a couple of things for her. Key still in
the secret place?" Luke asked.

"Yeah still there." Liz replied.

"Well you two kids take all the time in the world." Luke said taking Hallie
off.

"Well you heard what he said we have all the time in the world." Liz said.

"Forever."

"You think you can stand me for that long?"

"I couldn't stand living without you for 4 seconds let alone forever."

"Four seconds you mean if you didn't see me for 3 seconds you wouldn't miss
me."

"I miss you even when I blink my eyes."

"That's better." Liz said pulling him close for another kiss but then she
stopped him "Any more secrets Mystery Man."

"Well let's see I don't think I do but there was that time that I soled worm
farms or the time I got shot-"

"No way."

"I know a cool guy like me selling worm farms."

"Well we have our whole lives for surprises like that because I plan on not
letting you out of my sight for a second."

"Me too. I love you."

"I love you too."

"You know what's the best thing about you?"

"What?"

"The way you get squemish over cheese fries being chucked at you." Lucky
siad and before she knew it he threw some at her."

"Oh no you don't."

"You think you can get me?"

"Oh I'm going to."

"Yeah right."

"Yeah I am you better watch out Lucky Spencer come over here." she said. He
went and gave her a long passionate kiss as she stuck fries down his shirt.

"Cheater."

"I learn from the best." she said giggling and running around the room away
from Lucky's cheese fries. Nothing was gonna get better than this.

Epilouge.

"Lara Spencer you little silly goose come down here." Liz said yelling at
her youngest daughter.

"Hallie let's go or you'll be late for ballet." Lucky said as Hallie came
tumbling down the stairs in her ballerina outfit. "Bye hon I'll see you
later." Lucky said giving her a quick peck on the lips. Before she knew it
Lucky and Hallie were out the door. Lara came bumbling down the stairs and
Liz scooted her out the door to her friend's house. She had the whole place
to herself for about 20 minutes. Lucky and she had been married for about 3
years now. Hallie was 7 years old and her sister was 2. For old time sakes
Liz decided to check her e-mail. She opened up her AOL account still the same
after all of these years. She recieved a letter from a man named Cowboy1
that said open up. She did and began to read.

Hey Slick,

Who's eyes are more beautiful and cascade rays of sunshine into my
heart? Elizabeth Webber. She is the beauty that walks within the night and
the starry sky that shines above us. I know too corny for you huh. It's in
the whole delivery. I love the way you laugh and how your eyes twinkle. I
like that one better. No matter what you've never ceased to amaze me. I
love you with all my heart and I cannot wait until I can see you again. Now
let's see I bet your wondering about my screen name. Well Cowboy's an old
nickname and 1 is the amount of times I'll ever fall in love and I've used it
up on you so make it worth my while when I come home tonight.

love,
Your secret admirer

Liz wrote back.

Dear Cowboy,

I think you have mistaken me for a free woman because you see I'm happily
married with two gorgeous little daughters and the most wonderful husband
ever imginable.

from,
Slick

Liz closed the computer and giggled to herself. She settled herself in her
birthday suite on couch that faced the door and as Lucky walked in his mouth
dropped open.

"Care to take a bubble bath?" Liz asked.

"You bet but aren't you married?"

"Read my e-mail already?"

"In the car had my labtop."

"Well Mr. Spencer I won't tell if you don't."

"Race you."

"Oh no I get carried up or no bubble bath."

"Anything for you."
