| Chapter 4- "Where is
she?" Juan whined to Sonny.
"She could be anywhere." Sonny tried to remind him.
"I can't believe this happened. We were suppose to be together forever." Juan
said.
Sonny rolled his eyes at his step-son, "Nothing last forever Juan. You and Emily
didn't. I know you don't want to hear this, but she's gone, and it's better that she left
now then later."
"But she's my fiance!!!" Juan whined.
"Not anymore. The engagment is broken. She left you, you read the letter." Sonny
said as he tried to get through to him. After all these years he still wondered how in the
world the boy could be so stupid.
"No it's not I refuse to except it." Juan stated.
"It's over, move on, go find someone else! Emily doesn't love you."
"Then who does she love?" Juan demanded to know.
"Maybe no one, maybe someone else. I don't know!" Sonny yelled.
"Who was that guy that I started yelling at, at the wedding?"
"You um...mean that um, guy that wanted to know where Emily was?" Sonny asked.
"Yeah him, who was he?" Juan demanded to know.
"He looked like a recently back from the dead Lucky Spencer."
"Nikolas' brother? Didn't he die in a fire?"
"Well this is Port Charles, people don't always stay dead."
"How does he know Emily?"
"They were best friends. I remember them hanging out in Luke's when they were younger
or down in the park or at Kelly's."
"Emily left me for him!"
"Juan, I don't think that's it."
"Yes it is! She left me for some guy named Lucky!"
"You don't know that!"
"We need a plan." Emily said as she paced the room. "I don't care who has
us locked up and whatever there plan for us is. We're getting out of here."
"Em, we need to know and we need to care. Otherwise we'll never out smart them."
Emily turned to Lucky and stepped less then a foot away from him. "Listen Spencer,
we've been in here for a few day's down. Sarah Webber has some twisted notion that we're
to blame for Liz not being happy. Last time I checked Liz was perfectly happy with
Nikolas."
"Emily, you have GOT to calm down." He said putting his hands on her arms.
"Staying calm will help keep whoever this is off guard. He or she expects us to start
freaking out."
"Your right, I know your right. This is just such an intense situation. I don't see
why anyone would do this to us."
"Hey, we'll get out of this. We made it across the country when we were eleven just
fine. We can deal with this psycho." He said pulling her in for a hug.
For the first time since, the first alarm only a few days ago there was none. They stood
in the middle of the room holding on to each other as Emily burried her head against his
chest and softly cried.
"Please, Em, don't cry. I've always hated it when you cry."
Emily looked up at him and smiled. "Your so sweet." She told him as he reached
up and wiped her tears.
Lucky leaned down and gently pressed his lips against her. Emily put her hands on his
shoulders and responded to the kiss and melted against him.
